Welcome to the Lazy Bear Lodge! This cozy cottage is centrally located in the heart of beautiful Maggie Valley with some of the most breathtaking views in the area. You'll be so delighted you chose this warm and inviting home for your Great Smoky Mountain escape. With easy, paved access, cable TV, high speed WiFi, wood burning fireplace, fire pit, and an expansive covered front porch with plenty of seating to soak in the views, this stylish cottage is well stocked for a relaxing retreat any time of year!

The Lazy Bear Lodge is filled with heartwarming decor and cozy furniture that will make you feel right at home the moment you step through the door. It is convenient to many attractions the area has to offer, and is just minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance, Tube World, and the Cataloochee Ski Area. Soco Falls, Cherokee, and the Harrah's Casino are a short drive away, as well as the Biltmore Estate in Asheville.

As you pull into the paved driveway, you'll find parking for 3 vehicles, and a view of the mountains that will leave you awestruck. Travel up a small flight of stairs to the covered front porch, pull up a rocking chair, and soak in the mountain air and some of the best views in Maggie Valley.

Once inside, you'll find a heartwarming space filled with little details to make you feel right at home. The living room boasts a beautiful, floor to ceiling, wood burning fireplace, so you can cozy up and relax on those cool mountain evenings. A large screen tv with cable and plenty of comfortable seating completes this space, and invites you to relax and enjoy a movie or sporting event in front of the fire.

The living room opens into the dining area with a table that seats four people and is perfect for a relaxing meal or playing a game of cards. Large sliding glass doors fill the room with natural light and give access to the back deck. Here you'll find a small outdoor dining area, gas grill, an access to the fire pit. Pull up a chair and enjoy the view as your roast marshmallows over the open flame.

Just off the dining area is a stunning kitchen, recently remodeled and lovingly decorated, this pace is filled with everything you need for cooking and dining. A set of sliding glass doors by the dining table takes you out to the back deck with a cozy outdoor seating area, propane grill for cooking, and access to the fire pit. Pull up a chair, and roast marshmallows while soaking in the incredible mountain views.

Off the dining room, you’ll access the first master bedroom with a king size bed, high quality linens, a walk in closet and a full attached bath.

Travel back inside to the living room and you'll find a split floor plan with a bedroom on either side of the room. The second master bedroom offers a king size bed, private desk for those who may need to work remotely, a tv, and an attached full bath with a tub and shower. There is also access to the porch from this room as well, and is the perfect relaxing retreat to unwind in after a day of hiking or skiing.

Across the living room is a third delightful bedroom filled with warm wood, mountain views, and direct access to the covered front porch. The bedroom also boasts a tv, private desk, and attached full bath.

The cottage also has a washer and dryer available for our guests' convenience.
