BABY BEAR’S CABIN, REAL LOG CABIN, SPECTACULAR VIEWS, HOT TUB, FIRE PIT

BABY BEAR’S CABIN is located in the heart of The Smokey Mountains and Maggie Valley. The cabin sits at the top of the community with no sight of other homes from the deck, only the Mountain View. Just five minutes to the main road in Maggie Valley.
Built from REAL logs, it is a true log cabin with modern amenities. Our home has Two Master bedrooms, both with king size beds. A comfortable queen size sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress and two pullouts serve as additional sleeping space. The cabin sleeps up to 6 adults. Enjoy the Smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Enjoy Spectrum TV and free fiberoptic high speed WiFi. Soak and relax in the four person Hot Tub on the deck with the Mountain View. Comfortable beds, linens and towels provided. Full kitchen setup with seating for 8. Plenty of soft blankets to curl up with and watch a movie on the Blu-ray player (movie selection provided) or read a good book. Enjoy the “black bear loft” with pool table and board games.
No trailers or loud vehicles are permitted at the cabin.
Unfortunately our property has to be a strictly animal-free zone due to severe allergies of a family member. If you have a pet or service animal, please choose one of the many available pet friendly accommodations.

The host was very welcoming and attentive and the cabin itself for the most part was perfect. We traveled from Florida and stayed for about 5 days or so. This was my family’s first ever vacation. The drive up to the cabin is a 1 lane and it gets steep, so if you’re like me and you’re not used to driving up and down roads like that it does get a little sketchy. I will say the more you do it the easier it is, but it’s sketchy nonetheless. It’s also the price you pay for a spectacular view like this cabin has. I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely come back here a second time.

What a beautiful cabin with great view! Loved that we were there in town close to everything. Corrine was awesome! Would definitely stay here again. Lots of laughter and special memories were made. Thank you Corrine for everything!

We just spent 4 nights at Baby Bear. It is exactly like the pictures show, though the mountain views are much more impressive in person, especially with the fall leaves. It's in a quiet secluded spot, but close enough to visit Waynesville, Asheville, Bryson City, or even Gatlinburg across the mountains. The cabin is spacious, modern, quiet, and decorated just like you'd expect a mountain cabin to be. The host, Corinne, is great, and gave tons of helpful tips and info for the area. Our weather was very rainy and foggy, but not much you can do about that. We've stayed in about 12 cabins in the Smoky Mountain area, and Baby Bear is by far our favorite. We would not hesitate to return!

This cabin had everything you need. It was clean, spacious and the game room had enough to keep you entertained. The views were spectacular especially in the morning sitting on the deck or in the hot tub with your coffee. The host gets an A for communication and info on the area !

It was a wonderful getaway from the every day hustle and bustle. Corinne was amazing at communicating and even sent some good ideas of places to visit/things to do. The pictures do not do the reality justice. Directions were very clear. The drive up was nerving the 1st time but once you get the hang of it, it’s not bad at all! We are already looking at booking Fall of 2026.

BEAUTIFUL Cabin, Great Views, needs maintenance Impressive structure with large wood beams, High Ceilings and beautiful wood floors in the common areas. Wrap around porch has a beautiful, unobstructed view across the valley to the mountains around Magley Valley. Very quiet location.Downstairs bedroom carpet is overdue, and bedroom lighting is all wrong. The range is also past due for replacement, and some kitchen utensils just weren’t properly cleaned, but otherwise a wonderful cabin. And I thought the price very reasonable. Just needs a visit to Home Depot.

It was beautiful there, the only complaint would be the grill was shown on the deck but it was actually down a flight of stairs in the yard! My husband and my self are elderly and as it started raining as we were grilling, it was very inconvenient for us. The pictures should be accurate. Other than that the cabin was very nice!!

If you love a view of the mountains and the town of Maggie from above, then this is the cabin for you. The host is amazing and the cabin provides everything you need for a very comfortable home away from home experience.

Great Getaway

Great cabin in a super location! Excellent communication with helpful owners. Spectacular views. Loved the layout of the cabin. Deck space was wonderful. Cows, bunnies and deer in the neighborhood. Close to town. We would come back here!

Christmas at Baby Bear

We had a WONDERFUL and relaxing stay at Baby Bear. The cabin was cozy, clean and furnished with extra entertainment (i.e. board games in the closet, pool table, clean hot tub). The beds were very comfortable, clean and spacious. Waking up to the mountain view with my coffee was my favorite morning ritual. We took a slender 7 foot Christmas tree that fit great between the dinning table and side patio doors. Upon arrival, there was a dust of snow on the patio deck and on the mountain tops. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. I cannot thank the host enough for great communication, suggestions, and the wonderful hospitality during our stay. Looking forward to another visit! Enjoyable Stay

This is a cozy two bedroom cabin with a great view of the mountains. It is ideal for a small family or two couples. One bedroom and bath are upstairs and the second bedroom with bath is downstairs. There is also a half bath just off the living room. The cabin is clean and comfortable and well decorated in the "Bear" theme. It is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The property manager is very helpful in providing information on the area and answering questions promptly. We enjoyed our stay at Baby Bear's cabin and would definitely rent this cabin again.

Memorable Vacation

Baby Bear Cabin was the best!! Beautiful views, close enough to everything - but far enough up the mountain to feel secluded. The cabin was very clean - nicely furnished and very comfortable. Corrine was an excellent host - vary communicative about things to do in the area. Of course - the weather didn't cooperate - but we felt very safe staying during all the devastation that occurred in the area from Tropical Storm Helene and all the proceeding rains. Corrine was so kind and considerate in allowing us to stay until we could exit the area. Thankful that no real damage occurred to Baby Bear Cabin or to the immediate area surrounding the cabin.
