That is all, however, somewhat overshadowed by the fact that check-in took more than an hour - the manager claimed that no reservation was made and no payment received only to then blame hotels.com once I raised my voice sufficiently for him to find my reservation. Not an ideal experience in a rather remote location at 21.00. Other than that, a perfectly agreeable stay."

The room was great, the garden surroundings so peaceful, and the breakfast was lovely. We had dinner at Garlic, the restaurant next door. Great place!"

"Vi havde et rigtig fint ophold på Le Green Udawalave, der ligger en kort køretur fra indgangen til nationalparken. Værelserne er bestemt ikke noget at skrive hjem om, men det gør ikke det store, når man typisk kun skal bo der 1-2 nætter. Til gengæld er det pool, og hotellets ejerpar (der ikke taler meget engelsk) er fantastisk rare, og de kan kokkerere et dejligt aften-måltid."
