"Not a good experience at all. Run down and dirty. Stunk. Tiniest bathroom-size of airplane bathroom. Got bites all over my arms and legs at night from something. Bites turned into welts and caused muscle pain. Breakfast in morning was cold. Warmer under food was not plugged in. Staff were trying to be helpful but didn’t know English well. "Nreat hotel for a stay in Aguas Calientes. It's not mentioned in the descrition but to get to the hotel, you will need to go through steep steps. Still hotel its nice, has a nice view and the location is great."

"No one onsite when we arrived the hotel to check in at 11 am. There were 2 groups already waiting for staff to show up. I whatsapp and phoned and finally someone showed up after 15 mins. Small room and note that there is no elevator. Also trains run right outside of the hotel and make huge noise and vibrations during daytime. OK breakfast. "We stayed with our family. Its a really nice location. We left our bags here while we went to Machu Picchu. Adter it was a 5 minute walk to get our bags and then another 5 minutes to go to the train station."
