"We asked for a late check out and even though the hotel was absolutely empty - (we were the only two people at breakfast in a room that could seat 100) the hotel still denied a late checkout (personally I think 11am checkout is too early) so we were charged an extra £20 for a 12pm checkout. When the room costs £500 per night this is totally outrageous. The hotel was empty so it would have been a nice gesture to offer a 1pm checkout given at most high end hotels 12pm is standard. "Our room was cold, we were woken during night by the cold. We could not adjust the Aircon to make the room warmer, very disappointing. Asked to leave dining room at 10pm and take our coffees through to reception area, a little early. A little disappointing."
