The Space:

Mornings begin with fresh air drifting in from the gardens, while evenings invite you to unwind in a setting shaped by rich textures, moody tones, and thoughtful historic detail. Surrounded by the Shenandoah Valley, the atmosphere feels calm, with blooming landscapes and gentle mountain air just beyond the doors.



The Suite

Tucked on the second floor of The Legacy Inn, the Bonnie & Clyde Suite offers a private retreat within a shared, adults-only inn. A king bed anchors the room, framed by antique furnishings, deep jewel tones, and subtle Art Deco accents that reflect its 1930s-inspired theme. A pair of leather armchairs and a vintage trunk-style table create a comfortable place to read, sip a drink, or take in views of the rear gardens and tree-lined yard as greenery returns to life. The private en-suite bathroom provides space to get ready with ease, while details like soft lighting and period photographs contribute to the suite’s distinct character.



Shared Spaces & Atmosphere

While your suite is private, the inn itself is a shared environment designed for a relaxed and respectful stay. Common areas include a sitting room with a fireplace, along with entry and outdoor spaces used by fellow guests. The property’s seven-suite layout encourages a quiet, welcoming setting where guests can enjoy both privacy and a sense of connection.

Step outside to experience the natural beauty of Luray. The wrap-around porch and backyard offer places to sit and take in views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with seasonal blooms and fresh air enhancing the surroundings. Complimentary bicycles are available on a first-come, first-served basis, offering an easy way to explore nearby paths and the charm of downtown Luray.



Amenities & Comfort

The suite includes Wifi, TV, and a sound system for indoor relaxation, along with board games for quiet evenings. Guests have access to a kitchen area with space for preparing simple meals, as well as a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker, and a washer and dryer are available in the building. Free parking on premises is provided for convenience.

Please note: The Inn is heated and cooled using mini split systems, which are energy-efficient and help us maintain comfort without altering the structure of our historic building. The mini split in the shared guest space is set to 70°F for your comfort. If the area feels too warm or too cool, you're welcome to turn off the unit using the remote; however, we kindly ask that you return it to 70°F or turn it back on when you leave the space. Due to the limitations of a historic property, we also recommend bringing a personal fan for added comfort.
