Back indoors, the stone-floored living area has a contemporary sofa, a flat-screen Smart TV and a dining table with 2 seats. In the sleek, open plan kitchen you will find everything you might need during your stay: a cooker hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and Nespresso machine.

Location

On the border of Switzerland and Italy, the city of Lugano is famous for its stunning location, beautiful old town centre and excellent restaurants and cafés. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20-minute walk) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. If you have time a day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must. Otherwise take a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. Then head to Piazza della Riforma, the heart of the city, and enjoy an apertivo in this charming square.

For business travellers, the apartment is just an 11-minute walk from the Centro Esposizioni Lugano exhibition centre and an 18-minute walk from the Palazzo Dei Congressi Lugano.

The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 5 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 25-minute walk from the apartment.
