Start your exploration with one of Lucca’s most notable public spaces, Piazza San Michele, less than a minute’s walk from home. From there you could travel by foot to Piazza Napoleone, Guinigi tower, Via Fillungo, Piazza Anfiteatro, San Martino, The Antique Market and district and so much more. If you’re traveling by car, a safe parking is just ten minutes away -which makes driving to Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Siena or Forte dei Marmi easy and convenient- as well as the Lucca Central Train Station which is well linked with frequent train to Pisa, Florence, Venice, Bologna, Montecatini, Pistoia, Rome and Milan. What a marvellous apartment right in the centre of Lucca handy for all the sights. Also close to excellent restaurants and a supermarket over the road Manuel was an excellent host and provided us with all the information we needed for our stay in lovely Lucca Nothing everything was excellent

One of the top 5 in the entire historical center

This apartment MUST be one of the top 5 in the entire historical center. I highly recommend it to everybody who wants a wonderful stay in Lucca. Cleanliness was A+, staff are truly bilingual and the location is convenient to the entire city.

This was our second trip to Lucca. I have to say we enjoyed our stay much more this trip and it is largely due to our rental. The apartment was exactly as described. Communication with Manuel was great. He messaged me before to meet up and show us the place gave us recommendations. He also checked in to see how we were doing and then for check out . He was very friendly . Our location was perfect! Right next to piazza San Michele . Walking distance to everything. We had a wonderful stay and will book again for next summer as well !

Can't wait to come back

We absolutely loved our few days here. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a high standard and we felt right at home immediately. There is everything you could possibly need and the centrality, gate and fountain are lovely. Communication and check in were first rate. Beds were very comfy and the whole place was very cosy on our winter stay.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Check in was very well coordinated and we appreciated all the excellent information in the welcome book. As others have noted, the apartment is on the last floor, but don’t worry, there is an elevator that reach immediately the inside of the apartment. it’s a beautiful spot just inside the walls.

Dukes room was perfectly located and had every convenience we needed. Check in was easy and the direct elevator to the apartment was a great bonus. Any questions were quickly answered by Elizabeth and she made sure we were comfortable. We would definitely recommend Dukes place for a visit to Lucca.

The Duke's room is a great family stay in Lucca. The quiet, well maintained room comes with all modern comforts. Tucked away in a very central location in Lucca, this presented our family with an excellent base to explore the city and the region. With both the beach easily reachable as well pisa or florence by train, Lucca is a great place and much less busy than the other towns. Put a notice that on Saturday the free car park area is subject to tow away

Incredibly happy with our stay

Location is excellent, right next to Piazza san Michele. Apartment is so charming, both in its period style as well as modern comfort and so well equipt. Chiara met us on arrival and was available at any moment to help us with questions throughout our stay. Excellent service, excellent accommodation, excellent location - perfecto ! Lucca is such an awesome place to stay, dine, shop, tour & experience. Nothing - 5 stars - Thank You ! One of our best holidays ever.

Location, location, location

This apartment is located in the center of Lucca with easy access to all of it's sites. Having a car is not ideal, but they provide easy directions to parking nearby (outside the ZTL). We were booked to stay for about 2 weeks and minimal necessities were provided: less than 2 rolls of toilet paper, and no liquid dishwashing soap (even though the dishwasher wasn't working when we arrived). It's the details that make a vacation rental comfortable.

This is the perfect location in Lucca!

Location, Location, Location! This is the perfect location in Lucca! Grocery right out the door, many restaurants, cafes. The apartment is exactly as described and photographed. It’s very well equipped in the kitchen if you desire to cook meals. Two full bathrooms is a plus also. Bedroom has a king size bed and ample space for your items. A kit of essentials is included in both bathrooms. The extra plus is the elevator that arrives right into your apartment!! So no carrying your luggage up any stairs! This rental was everything we hoped for and more.

This rental was everything we hoped for and more. It was the perfect place to stay in Lucca. It is centrally located and close to everything - grocery stores, coffee bars, restaurants, shopping, and attractions. It was immaculate, well decorated, and modern. The apartments is accessible through an elevator with a private code specific to the apartment. Take at least one trip on the stairs though to admire the beautiful painting on the walls and ceiling. The bedroom loft has a king size bed that is firm and comfortable. The master bath is spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need to prepare meals. If you need to buy food there is a grocery store, meat market, and vegetable market literally steps out the front door. It has multiple coffee makers depending on your style,walk out the front door and head in any direction and you will be at a coffee bar in less than a minute. The den area is comfortable and relaxing. There is also a frig/freezer, oven, clothes washer, dish washer, and microwave. There is a second full bathroom downstairs as well. I also should point how how quiet this apartment is. It has massive windows that open allowing the sights and sounds of the city to enter, but when the windows are closed its so quiet you can not hear a sound from outside. I can’t recommend this apartment enough and will definitely books it again when I come back to Lucca.

Nos sentimos como en casa.

La ubicación es excelente, la atención de La inmobiliaria es magnífica. La estructura del apartamento nos resulta muy acogedora. La cama es muy amplia y supercómoda. En general, a pesar de lo céntrico es bastante silencioso. Se puede dormir bien porlas noches, tan sólo se oye un poco de jaleo los fines de semana. La ropa de cama y toallas muy limpias y agradables. También es un apartamento con mucha luz natural, gracias a su altura y a los dos grandes ventanales. El sofá es muy cómodo como sófa, no lo hemos probadocomo cama, aunque también lo parece. El radiador-tollero del baño va estupendo lástima que no hubiera otro en otra parte del apartamento, por ejemplo en el lavabo de abajo. Nos gusta mucho la importancia que se le da en éste apartamento y en general, entoda Italia, al la clasificación de los residuos. El frigorífico hace ruido y sobretodo por las noches se oye bastante. Algunos toalleros se han tenido que fijarmejor a la pared por que estaban a punto de caer (el sistema de fijación no creo que sea el mejor). La placa de inducción bastantes vecesse nos quedaba sin funcionar. Teníamos que cerrar el cuadro general de electricidad de esa parte de la cocina y volverlo a concetar (ya nos pasóelaño anterior, pero ésta vez en más ocasiones). Para la mayor seguridad de los inquilinos, estaría bien que se pudiera cambiar la clave del ascensor. Faltaría una lámpara de pie o similar en la parte del sofá ya que el interuptor que ilumina esa parte delliving también conecta unas lámparas muy potentes que iluminan mucho la zona de la habitación. ésto impide que si una persona abajo quiere leer o tener luz y la otra quiere dormir o descansar en la cama, no se pueda hacer. Para estancias largas, como la nuestra, estaríabien disponer de un cubo y fregona para fregar el suelo. y también faltaba un palo de escoba. Los elementos de calefacción por aire, a veces sale el aire caliente y otras veces, a pesar de ponerlo al máximo, el aire salía solo templado o hasta frio. Estaría bien si se pudiera conseguir un poco más de presión del agua, ya que cuando te duchas apetece un chorro un poco más generoso.

Quite Amazing

The apartment is really quite amazing. And furniture and fittings made for an unique stay. However be aware that because it's an ancient building it does come with some idiosyncrasies. For instance only one power appliance can be used at a time. Manuel was available and attended to any of our problems promptly. Highly recommend.
