"The area around the place was dirty, ghetto, was a little nervous about staying. Then we went inside a very secured building, the unit was very nice, clean, beds were comfortable it had everything you needed for cooking, washing the dishes, microwave, mini fridge and air conditioner. It was actually pretty quiet so it just goes to show can’t judge a book by its cover. The distance to Downtown Philli was only about 17 miles. There weren’t many things nearby either, but the hotel itself overall was great. We were super comfortable and even our pup felt very welcomed. We were super happy with our stay. "

"We only stayed one night to attend a concert. The staff was friendly and the gift bag with water and snack was appreciated. Our room was clean and comfortable. We did not go to breakfast but did walk to the Cracker Barrel Restaurant next door. I would return in the future. "

"We had the best 3 nights at this lovely B&B. The hosts, Ricky and Caesar, were impressively welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! We would love to come back to Philadelphia and stay at the Gables again. We highly recommend this B&B!
