The Perfect Spot
Great for families!! Loved the ground floor condo and how the beach is right by the pool. My kids were back and forth all day. Beautiful sunrises and it’s fun to watch the boats go out in the morning and come back in the afternoon. The restaurant is absolutely delicious and we got drinks all day from the swim up bar. We will be back cause the place is so special!!

This condo is in the perfect location, clean & comfortable & stocked with everything you need…chairs, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen etc.The property manager Pedro is very helpful to get you anything you need like ATV rental, airport transportation etc. Great place!

Well-Equipped, Comfortable Condo in Sunny Los Barriles
My husband and I stayed at Robin's condo for two weeks in January 2024. We can highly recommend this property. And you can trust our recommendations as we have previously stayed in three other condos in this complex and would choose Robin's place over the others for future visits. Robin was an excellent communicator from the beginning of our booking and throughout our stay. She responded within minutes (seconds?) to our questions; she allowed us a very early check-in, which was much appreciated; and she accepted our private feedback graciously. Compared to other hosts in this complex, Robin far outshone them all in terms of communication and response time. The condo is on the ground floor. We had previously stayed in condos on the third or fourth floor. The upper-floor condos do offer a bit more of a panoramic view, but at a price, which is the minuscule outdoor seating area on the tiny balconies, barely large enough for one person to sit outside. From Robin's condo, one could still have a lovely view of the sea and enjoy the morning sunrises, but from a large patio area that offered a full-size table with four comfortable chairs and a second patio area with two full-sized chaise lounges. Robin's condo is very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. You have everything you need in the kitchen, decent knives, a large variety of cookware and small appliances. She provides detailed instructions and also offers recommendations on local restaurants and activities. Enjoy!

Amazing Stay
We had an incredible stay. The location of the condo is the best. You walk out your back door to the pool or beautiful sandy beach. It is a very clean and spacious Condo, has everything you need. The Owner is very helpful and easy to reach should you need anything. Highly recommend staying here. We’ll be back!

Excellent stay at Casa Bella
We had a wonderful time at Casa Bella. Everything was perfect. We had to stay longer because of some weather and Robin was quick to accommodate. We will be staying here again.

Great Place & Awesome Location
We have stayed at this property 2 times before in different units. Being on the first floor was so great! Loved just walking out of the door straight to the pool or to the parking lot. We love Los Barriles and will be back again! The bed was super comfortable, pillows were a bit large/thick so if you like a more down pillow bring your own (I always do :) The kitchen is well stocked with dishes/glasses/cooking supplies and spices etc. Very comfortable place.

Good times
We feel very comfortable at this property, easy to go straight outside to beach or pool. Fun to watch the fishing boats in the morning with the amazing sunrise. Fun to take long walks on the beach & listen to the waves. Robin & Kurt are excellent hosts & always available for any questions about the property! Yes we will stay there agin.

What's Not to Like
I have stayed in several properties in the same complex, this is the best of all of them. Clean, great ground floor location, updated property. Owner responds quickly. Complex manager Pedro always ready to help you out with transportation or activities.

Perfect location beautiful unit.
My wife and I spent 10 days in Casa Bella. The ground floor access to the beach and pool was very convenient. The suite was very nice and had most amenities. A quick walk to Chapitos for drinks, food, laundry soap etc… Pedro, the property manager was friendly and available for whatever you might need. We loved Los Barriles and the Casa bella suite was just what we needed. Rent an atv, park it at the front door and adventure this great little town.

Owners are super responsive and helpful. Ground floor unit right next to a private pool with a swim up bar. Restaurant is right next to pool if you don’t want to travel into town.. Right next to the resort. We have stayed there multiple times. You will love this rental.

Great condo, perfect location at The Palmas, first floor, ocean view, great pool access. Very roomy 1 bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable king bed & pull out couch. Great to have 2 bathrooms! Hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Beach and Poolside Bliss
This was our second visit to Los Barriles and once again, it did not disappoint. Great food, laid-back vibe, and a community that is incredibly welcoming. Whether you enjoy kite-surfing, MTB, hiking, fishing, or just soaking in the sun, Villas de Cortez is a great base to enjoy everything LB has to offer. The property, being poolside, offered convenience, as well as an expanded outdoor space to dine outdoors, or lounge in the sun. Having in-suite laundry is a huge bonus. The owner was very responsive with a focus on making our stay enjoyable. The suite itself is spacious and very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate booking the same property for a future stay. Gracias!

Great stay
We have stayed in a number of units in the Villas and so far this one is our favorite. Being on the ground floor is super convenient, both for loading and unloading from the car, and for walking out into the pool and swim up bar area. Loved it! Robin was also very kind when a hurricane threatened to come through, reaching out and telling us not to worry - that if our flight was cancelled it was fine for us to stay in her unit. The unit is not perfect (many of the lights don't work, and the dryer is closed with electrical tape) but it is otherwise a beautiful unit and honestly, if you are looking for perfection, Los Barriles might not be your cup of tea anyway. :-) I would recommend this unit and stay here again if given the opportunity.

Hi Kimberly, Thanks so much for your kind words. I also appreciate you letting me know about lightbulbs being out. We had a transformer blow out in town a while ago and it must have blown out some light bulbs. I will ask our property manager to check them. Also, thanks for letting me know about the dryer door. I had a sign in there explaining how to operate the dryer but apparently it disappeared and some ingenious Person came up with the duck tape idea. This dryer you simply turn on the power first and then close the door. Once your clothes are dry the door will automatically open. I know most of us are used to doing it the opposite way and so someone probably thought the door would not stay closed. So, if we do have the opportunity to host you in the future, you will have replaced lightbulbs and no duct tape on the dryer!

Perfect Location
This is a perfect unit at a perfect location. My wife and i wanted to get away and spend a few nights relaxing and fishing. Being next to Palmas de Cortez hotel offers all the hotel advantages with all the solitude of a private condo. Your own pool, your own swim up bar, and your own lounging. Chedki in and out was super easy. Will be back!

Beautiful place in a great location
Had a great stay here during what became the onset of the Covid wave. As the town and resort emptied we became the sole residents of the complex, and were lucky enough to be in Robin and Kurt’s poolside paradise. It’s got all the creature comforts, Dish TV, close to town, pool and beach, and a perfect base for local explorations. I was disappointed that, at the peak of the initial panicky wave as people fled LB for the States, Robin and Kurt offered no refund, but instead, credit for future use of the place. As we didn’t know if we’d return to LB for a third time, we let the panic subside and stuck it out for most of our scheduled stay. In retrospect (and because we made it out on a nearly empty flight), we were glad we did. Delightful overall.

Beautiful Place
Robin’s condo was perfect for us. It’s first floor location right adjacent to the parking area made access simple. Right out the back door is a beautiful patio area with a walk-in pool. The condo itself was spotless and stocked with many small condiments that saved bringing or buying many of the little things you don’t think of. All-in-all it was a great place to stay. Communication with Robin was easy and she always responded promptly.

Wonderful Place to stay

All you need!
Great place to stay! It’s quiet, has all the amenities and supplies you need. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen has everything. The restaurant is right there and the food and service is good and the chef, Roberto, is very accommodating. The other restaurant at the hotel next door is good too. We would definite stay here again!

Sea of Cortez gem
We loved every minute of our stay at the Villas. The location can’t be beat. It was so lovely to step right out of our door onto the gorgeous patio to the pool and the Sea of Cortez just beyond. Pedro was so helpful, and the margaritas at the poolside bar were the best!

Las palamas cortez is a great complex beautifully situated on the beach.
Casa Bella is wonderfully situated close to amenities that the resort offers as well as to the water. Los Barriles is a little slice of heaven no matter what you are looking for - kiteboarding, fishing, paddle boarding.

We came back and loved our stay in this condo as much as the first time!
As soon as we walked in the door, our shoulders lifted and the relaxation set in! The condo has everything you need to enjoy life in the quiet town of Los Barriles.. We spent each morning by the pool watching the sun rise over the Sea of Cortez as the fishermen started their day. Days were spent exploring the waterfalls, caves, beaches, and hot springs nearby, as well as enjoying the authentic Mexican cuisine. On most days of our stay, the Sea was perfect for a kayak or a SUP. It doesn't get any better than this!

This condo is everything the host describes and more. My favorite part of the day is watching the sunrise every morning over the Sea of Cortez! I will definitely miss that.
