The communication was quick and clear and check-in was very easy. However, I am giving a low rating because the property I received did not match what I booked.The room differed significantly from the advertisement. I specifically booked accommodation featuring two separate beds. Upon arrival, the room I was given had only one bed. This created a very uncomfortable situation, as I was traveling with a professional colleague. I was given no advance notice that they had moved me due to plumbing issues in the original room. I only discovered this after texting the host myself to ask why the room was different. The entire space was smaller, darker, and dirtier than expected.The location was inaccurate. While listings show a general area, the actual address was in a different location than indicated by the search parameters, which should have been communicated before booking.The advertisement listed the space as "420 friendly." I contacted the host before booking to ask explicitly if the room smelled like smoke, and I was assured it did not. However, upon entry, the room had a very strong odor of marijuana.The room lacked basic amenities, specifically dish soap and a sink to wash dishes. We were also only provided with two bath towels, with no hand towels, necessitating a request for more.While this booking was less expensive than others in Los Angeles, had I known the room configuration and location would be so different, I would have booked elsewhere.
