Private 2 unit compound rented together with secure parking behind a gate
First unit is a one bedroom casita one bath, full kitchen and an Gas fireplace
Second unit is a two bedroom two bath, full kitchen and a gas fireplace
Great for families or small Groups
Equipped with a private heated/chilled pool , outdoor bar, brick sauna, lawn area, fruit trees, outside horno plus bbq area, full of local art work with rancho style furniture and local historically designed .
We are centrally located 2 blocks from the malecón and half a block from the downtown plaza which makes walking to restaurants, bars, stores and souvenir shops
Will have wine available made from our boutique winery in Northern California which can be purchased upon request

Pets will have a $10 dollar under 20lbs $25 over 20 lbs pet fee per night per dog

We really enjoyed our stay at Open Sky Ranch. It is as described and had everything we could possibly need. We had many bbqs and dinners at home, as everything was well equipped. Our granddaughter learned to swim in the pool and everyone enjoyed it after a hot day!The “compound” is literally steps from everything and we enjoyed some great meals around town - all walkable! Mi Loreto and Orlando’s were great meals and Zapata was a fun drink spot with live music on the weekends.Alfonso was such a great help to us - he was so responsive if we needed anything. He helped us set up an amazing fishing and sightseeing / beach day. He also set us up with bikes, kayaks, paddle boards which we took to the beach on the funky golf cart!Simone and Charlie, the owners, were very responsive and helpful from start to finish.We loved our first trip to Loreto and it won’t be our last!Thank you for sharing your home!

I don’t think we could have a better rental in all of Loreto that would fit our needs as well as Open Sky Ranch did! Our family was 5 adults and 2 children. Having our own space when needed but able to gather all together was perfect. The children loved the pool and the adults took turns finding their own favorite place in the sun or in the shade. The layout and design is lovely. Nicely furnished and great artwork. Pueblo and Casita are well equipped. The location can’t be beat…so close to everything and surprisingly quiet. Open Sky Ranch exceeded our expectations and it’s as beautiful as the photos. We would highly recommend it.

Our stay was wonderful. The Open Sky Ranch Villas were perfect for family holiday with grandparents and a little family with a ten and five year old. The pool and amenities kept everyone entertained. The location was so convenient and having the fun golf cart was a blast.

Beautiful property. Enjoyed the Sauna, hot tub, and pizza oven. Didn’t use the pool much as it was winter and spent more time in the ocean. Location is ideal to walk to beach and town plaza. We went snorkeling to islands w/ Flavio of Loreto star adventures and had an amazing adventure. A little confusion on beds in rooms but I think this has been corrected. Advise clarifying before booking. We had 7 in our group and needed another bed so fortunately the penthouse was available for us to book and the owner worked with us. Loved Loreto and the community there. It’s a special place. We always felt safe and it was amazingly clean compared to other central American areas we’ve been. Magical!

The house is very comfortable. Comfortable beds, strong AC, well stocked kitchen supplies, nice towels, and good pool chairs. The house manager / maintenance responded quickly to any issues and was very helpful.

Beautiful home in a great location

The house is very beautiful and clean in a great location just steps away from the town square. The pizza oven was so nice to have in the outside kitchen pool area. We found a card for a massage therapist to come to the house and turned the casita into a day spa for our group of 6, she was amazing. Communication was outstanding with our questions prior and during our stay.we will be coming back again!

Wonderful Stay Downtown

We had an absolute blast in this beautiful home a block from the central square. Our kids loved the yard and pool, my parents appreciated having their own space for siestas, and we loved how clean everything was.

Location is perfect!

What a great place to stay! We had the two lower villas, which gave each couple their own separate spaces. The sauna, pool and proximity to town center and the plaza offered us the convenience of be able to walk everywhere! Alfonso the property caretaker was beyond wonderful!!!

Family breather before holidays descend upon us

The property was ideal for our family. My wife and I (the grandparents) stayed in the spacious 1 bedroom casita. We brought our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren (7 & 10) who stayed in the 2 bedroom pueblo. The family spent quite a bit of time in the pool, relaxing and reading, and the kids told us what a great time they had. Being only half a block from the town square is a huge plus with many excellent restaurants, cafes and shops within easy walking distance. Open Sky Villas is the perfect spot to get away for some peace and quiet, or enjoy the wonderful small town of Loreto and the surrounding area. My suggestion is to allow enough time to do both. And don’t forget to take a stroll down the malecon along the Sea of Cortez. Felices Viajes!

Location Location Location

This place is only steps away from the plaza, with lots to do within walking distance. The place itself is a beautiful hacienda style property, with a pool and a bar in the interior court yard separating the main house and the casita. Both are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We thought it was a steal for the price and would definitely stay here again.

Gone Fishing

Perfect location. Walking distance from anything you need, host replies quickly, and privacy. If you’re looking to fish in Loreto, I highly recommend booking this location. Looking forward to booking again next year.

Family Vacation

Our stay was amazing! Charlie and Salome are super hosts! The two houses, one with one bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen and living room had everything a couple could want. The other house had two bedrooms, each had its own bathroom, full kitchen and living room and everything to accommodate two couples or a single. The houses are very spacious! The courtyard is beautiful. With a pool and outdoor Palapa bar with great bbq area! We had such a wonderful time. It is very close to the town square with many restaurants, bars, shopping and the Malecon where you can also find great restaurants and the marina if you want to go fishing or to one of the beautiful islands with great beaches. I would very highly recommend this Villa to anyone wanting to have an amazing vacation!

Exceptional Experience

This was our first time to Loreto and we shared this property with 2 other couples. This property was outstanding in so many ways. The owners were extremely responsive to all of our questions and requests. The local staff, grounds, cleaning, maintenance, were all superb. The property itself is amazing and well suited to both walking, driving and boating adventures. Loreto itself is an undiscovered gem. We will be returning and telling our friends about this experience!

Peaceful Getaway

The pictures do not do justice to the property. It was a perfect set up for our group of three couples. It is spacious and lovely. Not being directly on the water Turned out to be an advantage. During our stay, it was windy in the afternoon, but warm and calm in our lovely secluded patio. There is also another unit, if you had an even larger group, or if you were just a couple. The management was very responsive.

Great location

Loved the location. The property is in good condition and well maintained. Having two units (the 2 bed unit for me and my wife, and the 1 bed unit for our son) was a perfect arrangement for our family. The patio and pool area was ideal for lounging and meals. We used the elec cart to go to the marina - a great amenity with the property. Alfonso was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Would recommend for families wanting to be close to downtown.

Beautiful Property close to town

Very nice accomodations for our family group, adjacent to the square, malecon is closeby, as are restaurants and in town amenities, shopping, great coffee shop on the corner etc. Would definitely come back.

Big Sky Ranch

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The photos really lived up to reality here. We stayed with my in-laws and the split houses with the excellent common area was perfect. I hope to stay here again. Also the property manager, Alfonso, was very helpful. Thank you for making our trip all the more memorable.
