"What a lovely little gem of a hotel, absolutely loved staying here, dinner was out of the world followed by such a gorgeous breakfast the next day.. Would 100% return here"

"We really enjoyed our stay in an old mansion. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, spacious and warm. We could hear the door closing in the corridor a few times but it did not disturb our sleep. Breakfast was perfect. We would recommend a stay at this hotel."

"We are on a family trip around UK. This is one of the better places we have stayed with clean room with lot of space. Very friendly staff, nice restaurant and very good facilities."

"All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special."

"Over all happy with the stay. It's clean and tidy close to every thing. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Large towls were missing and the hair dryer but were bought to the room as soon as we asked for them. Excellent service. Two down falls. The shower. Large people might struggle to get in the shower as the door hing is 1/5 along the door so the door when opened doesn't hit the toilet. Second issue the road noise. We visited in September so temperature was still warm. You...

"Beautiful location, excellent parking and lovely choices of places to eat. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of quality eg coffee choice of bread, granola and much more. It was clear the owner takes pride in the services available. Highly recommended "

"Lovely converted cart lodge, spacious yet cosy. Quite well equipped, very comfy beds. Hosts helpful and super-friendly."

"We’ve just returned from 4 nights at Tangaer Cottage and couldn’t recommend it more! It was the perfect base for our family of four (children aged 3 and 10) and our dog. The cottage was spotless, cosy and incredibly well equipped. Thoughtful essentials included milk, butter, bread, hot chocolate, coffee pods, cooking supplies, toiletries and dishwasher tablets. There were plenty of games, DVDs, books and a children’s book station. The kids loved the swings and slide, and the fire pit for...

"Fabulous location just a stones throw from the beach. Everything you needed was in the cottage. Floors a bit creaky but to be expected in an old building. No trouble parking on the street though not sure if this is the case in the height of summer. Bit confusing about rubbish(other than a weekly collection mentioned) but found recyling bins on the promenade and a biffa bin near the harbour for general waste. Good collection of books (read 2 during my stay!)Would happily stay at Bari again."
