"This is a fantastic location just a short distance from town. The hosts were awesome! The bed was very comfortable. The large room with adjacent deck is well appointed. The house is across the street from the ocean and a pebbly beach. Loved the view! We highly recommend ordering their dinner which they bring to your room. It was extremely good! We HIGHLY recommend a stay at ‘A View with a Room’!"

"This was a great place to be based for a few days. Communication was so great with the host. The kitchenette is what you need, the appliances were on the small side so plan meals around this. It was warm, clean and a lovely home to come back to at the end of the day."

"Beautiful modern 2 bedroom apartment. Super clean and well appointed. Bed was awesome (for those liking a firm mattress!) Excellent communication with host however some confusion on my behalf with instructions on Expedia vs link sent from host. This caused a few hassles with check in! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others."

"Just to step into our accommodation with the heat pump going was awesome! So lovely and warm with a cold day outside! Cleanliness couldn't be faulted. Proximity to St Clare and the beach, cafes and restaurant just a short walk away was really the icing on the cake! Although all the TV channels was a winner as well. Great communication with Simon the host! Would recommend this place to everyone!"

"We spent one night and wished we could have stayed more. So beautifully presented , spotlessly clean and homely. The beds were super comfortable and lovely linen. Plenty of heating within the home. Everything you needed in the kitchen. Great location too. There was only two of us but this could easily accommodate a family too. We will definitely rebook next time we’re in Dunedin."
