Skøn oplevelse
Rent og flot hotel. Mega lækker morgenmad og dejligt med pool og sauna efter en lang dag i Londons gader. God service hele vejen igennem, meget roligt og stille på hotellet og skøn med kun 2 min. gang til nærmeste metro.

Great value for money
Good value for money. Good beds - even the kids pull-out bed had a really good matress. Quiet. Convenient location. Close to small underground st. Cool neighbourhood towards Waterloo st (but maybe stay out of the tunnel after dark - beautiful street art/graphitti if you go there though). Pool great when travelling with kids. Remember to reserve a time slot when you check in - if not planning to use a full hour then consider coming a bit late - less people during second part of the hour. Fun window in bathroom where you can choose to see through or blind as a wall. Not useful for us but with smaller kids you could guard kids taking a bath without sitting out there. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Happy customer! We’ll be back.

Det var et dejligt hotel. Rummeligt værelse til 4 og godt badeværelse. Morgenmadsrestauranten var lidt kaotisk med mange ansatte men få der havde overblikket. Men maden var god. Placering også perfekt iml to metrostationer

Personalet var utrolig søde, der var en god bar/restaurant og der var meget pænt og rent. Vores børn var vilde med den lækre pool, som var dejlig at slappe af i efter mange skridt rundt i London. Desuden lå der en undergrund station (southwark) lige ved siden af, så der vil vi helt sikkert gerne bo næste gang vi er i London.

Mediocre but fine hotel
We got "tricked" in to believing there would be a roof top terrasse from the pictures on their website - there is not. It's only for a limited number of rooms. Furthermore it look more like a nice 3 star hotel. It was very basic and nothing fancy. The service was great though and the staff were very polite and helpful. If you just need a place to sleep, it's fine, but if you want to stay at a fancy hotel, I wouldn't recommend it. Overall fine - 6/10 I would say

Kommer gerne igen:-)
Skønt hotel - centralt beliggende og let at komme omkring (tæt på metrostation og nær London eye/national teateret) Dejlig morgenmad med bredt udvalg for en hver smag. Værelset var velholdt og sengen rigtig god. Mine piger var begejstrede over muligheden for at starte eller slutte dagen med hoppe en tur i poolen. Imødekommende personale og på afrejsedagen var der ingen problemer med at opbevare kufferter indtil vi skulle mod lufthavnen Vil klart anbefale dette sted.

Super hotel som er alle pengene værd og ligger god
Super godt hotel med god og søde personale. Ligger tæt på metro og gåafstand på 20-30 min fra covent garden og tower bridge samt london eye og bukingham palace. Har restaurant med live music om aften (ikke hver dag). Pool er ren og pæn dog er vandet ikke så varm. Sauna også meget pænt og rent. Stor værelser med flot badeværelse. Sengene er meget komfortabel og god.

Stayed 1 night in May. Can’t fault anything really. The room with a double plus sofa bed met our needs (parents with 1 child). We were on 2nd floor at the front of the hotel on the road but it was quiet and didn’t hear any road noise (stayed Saturday night). We didn’t have breakfast as we needed to leave early so I can’t comment on food, but there are lots of places to eat with a 5 minute. Staff were very friendly and booked a taxi for us that turned up in under 2 minutes which was amazing. Used the pool which wasn’t huge but we had it all to ourselves for an hour. You need to book a time slot for pool and get a key card but that’s fine. Slight comedy moment as my wife couldn’t open the pool locker after a swim but maintenance came pretty quick and reset the lock. Lots of towels at the pool although changing rooms not huge. Overall all good and no complaints.

Die Lage war perfekt. Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals ebenfalls super. Das Zimmer war als Familienzimmer für 4 Personen extrem klein. Das Bad war leider nur mit Milchglas vom Schlafraum abgetrennt, es war daher extrem hellhörig. Privatsphäre auf der Toilette - Fehlanzeige. Dennoch empfehlenswert (für Paare auf jeden Fall).

Es war ein sehr guter Aufenthalt. Top Service und gute Einrichtungen. Aufmerksamkeiten im Zimmer erfreulich. Für 4-Sterne hätte ich allerdings mehr Klasse erwartet. És war ein sehr umtriebiges Feeling - vielleicht legt das aber auch an der hohen touristischen Frequenz.

Sehr zentrale und schöne Unterkunft. Gutes Frühstück, am besten aber man kommt gegen 7.30 Uhr zum Frühstück, ab 8.00 Uhr wird der Frühstücksraum sehr voll.

Novotel London Blackfriars was a lovely hotel, with excellent cleaning services, hospitality and comfort. We found it to be extremely reasonably priced, so even including Uber across the Thames to popular sites, the cost was still well below staying at a hotel in a more popular (read: expensive) area, such as Covent Garden. The closest tube station is Southwark, although the larger station Waterloo is within walking distance if you don’t mind a little exercise. Mostly we used Uber and black cabs; there is also a very close and convenient bus stop across the street. The attached Jamboree restaurant had a delicious breakfast buffet for 21 pounds/person and kids eat free with an adult. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Please note that check-in is not until 3pm, so when we arrived early, we left our luggage with the concierge and went exploring. One perk (I don’t know if this is common or if it was a special treat for us since we had a longer stay) was that our refrigerator was stocked daily with bottles of sparkling and still water at no extra cost. I would definitely stay here again.

I have never stayed in the Southwark area of London before but was pleasantly surprised to learn that a very quiet and well connected station was only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast was really excellent and better than any of the same standard of hotel I have been in. The room was clean with plenty of space and there was never any delay in getting the lift. It was also a nice surprise to have a good sauna and swimming pool in the basement of the hotel Finally, Giuseppe, 1 of the managers went out of his way to forward on an important envelope that was supposed to have arrived for a meeting in London on the 1st day of my stay but did not arrive until several days after I left. As this was not what would normally happen he went above and beyond the call of duty to look after someone who was not even any more a guest. Exceptional customer service.

Wir waren zu dritt (2 Erwachsene 6 jährige Tochter) in diesem Hotel. Das Hotel macht ein modernen Eindruck und die Zimmer ebenfalls. Die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut, nur 5 Gehminuten von der Station Southwark entfernt. Man hat direkt in fußläufiger Nähe mehrere Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind wirklich nur wenige Stationen mit der Bahn entfernt, z.B. das London Eye oder Madame Tussauds jeweils nur 20 Minuten inkl. Fußwege. Der Pool und die Sauna sind ebenfalls sehr sauber. Wir würden uns beim erneuten Aufenthalt in London auf jeden Fall wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden.
