The pictures online don't do this property justice. The home is adorably decorated, but beyond even that, exotic deer/antelope roam just out your windows (outside a fence) and you get to feed them. But more than that, i) it's a comfortable walk to the Colorado River, and ii) the host was so generous to provide sweet baked goods and the finest coffee and more!

What a wonderful get away! We arrived with a warm welcome to the property, we loved all of the animals and more. The fire place outside and the hot tub was an amazing nice relaxing addition to our stay! We will be back with the whole family to rent both properties!!Also they added a hook for our 3 month old to have her swing since that’s all she loves! We are extremely thankful for the outgoing little things that was provided to make our stay a little more peaceful

Beautiful property with the most gracious hosts! The attention to detail and the little extras that Karen and John give definitely put the experience over the top! The cabin is beautiful and well stocked and the animals are so fun to watch. We hope to be back soon!

Came for moms funeral, ended up having a Relaxing vacation.

Its beautiful. They have thought of everything you might need & then some. Loved watching the exotic animals & the peaceful surroundings. The cabin feels like home. I love the "Andi Sloan" sayings! The cookies were delicious. They even sent messages of love day of funeral. John & Karen are very special people. You can tell how much they love people & the area. Itll be the best vacation every. They also have deer hunts & San Saba has unique stores. Absolutely love San Saba. Wish I coild upload more pics.

Our stay was amazing! The hosts are so delightful and opening, we felt so at home! We will be back often! The property and exotics just made the trip even better! They also have thought of everything that you could ever need down to a flat iron, I had left mine at home!

I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay. In the middle of a gorgeous ranch with amazing wildlife to view. Great hot tub and outdoor fireplace to make your outside time fun. Hosts were very helpful and kind.Close enough to town that you can make a quick trip in and have numerous restaurants to chose from. Also made a trip to fiesta winery near buy for some amazing wine. 100% would recommend to anyone look for a nice cabin stay

Amazing, beautiful cabin!

From the get go, Karen was very responsive. Check in was super easy. Greeted by Karen and then walked in to a house of surprise goodies left by Karen for my husband’s birthday and our anniversary. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. The hot tub, the walk to the river. The animals around the cabin! One of the best places we have stayed. We will be back soon!! 10 out of 10 stars!!

Peaceful Time on the Ranch

If you love a peaceful country setting, you'll love Andi's Cabin. The owners are wonderful and very responsive if you need anything. If you forget anything, they have thought of it. The cabin is well supplied with anything you might need. There are lots of animals to see at the ranch. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and looking at the stars. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Cabin and Hosts!

Amazing cabin for a getaway. There’s an awesome hot tub you can star gaze in. You get to explore, feed exotic deer and it’s so close to the river you can walk. Very quiet and so relaxing.The cabin was gorgeous and very clean. Karen and John were amazing and let us know they were there if we needed anything. They surprised us with all kinds of amazing homemade treats and even surprised my kids with s’mores. Such a sweet and friendly couple.Would 100% recommend and we hope to go back again!!!

1000% recommend!!

The hubby and I went for a Valentine’s getaway and as we walked in, we were greeted with a lovely personalized sign, wine, Valentine’s day glasses, candy basket, fresh cupcakes and so much more! So much attention was put into details.The cabin was super clean and well organized. The hosts were so friendly and made checking in welcoming and seamless! We had a wonderful time exploring the property and watching the countless amounts of wildlife, including exotics! We are so fortunate to have met such lovely caring people and were so grateful for the memories we made, we'll definitely be taking our kiddos back next time to enjoy it as much as we did!! 1000% recommend!!!

Perfect getaway!

The check in process was easy and the cabin was warm and inviting. The hosts left homemade treats for us which were absolutely delicious! It was my birthday and we were greeted with a small cake and a card . The river was amazing to see and the wildlife was super cool! We actually wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect relaxing weekend

Karen and John were the perfect hosts. The cabin was clean, fully stocked and smelt wonderful. They even had little treats and an array of coffee. We enjoyed the short walk to the river and watching the exotic wildlife and birds. Best place to reconnect with your partner.

Very Unique experience

From the minute we met the owner at the gate we could tell she took great pride in her family’s cabins and ranch. There was a basket in the cabin that provided everything we could possibly need, should we have forgotten anything. Sitting on the porch watching the Axis as the sun rose while having Our coffee was splendid.

Super Hosts Amazing Place

I would give a rating of 10 if I could! Karen and John are the most gracious and helpful host we have ever experienced for a vacation rental.Their cabin is amazing. They have thought of so many little details to add that I never would have thought of or expected. The exotic animals, river frontage, hot tub under the stars (I saw the Milky Way for the first time in years). About 30 minutes from Colorado Bend State Park with great hiking, clear springs and majestic waterfalls!

Absolutely perfect!

The cabin was beyong my expectations and more. The attention to the details were magnificent. Karen is a marvelous delight. She has thought of everything. We felt so welcomed. It was like coming home. Leaving was way too hard. The land is beautiful and peaceful. The wildlife is stunning. We throughly enjoyed walking the river, exploring through the trees, stargazing in the hot tub, and sitting by the fire. I cannot wait to go back. This place is a treasure!

Perfect Country Getaway

I can't begin to explain how great our stay was. Karen and John are the best hosts I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I felt more like a friend and neighbor than a guest to their lovely cabin. The photos do not do this place justice. Believe me when I say that they really have thought of everything from a warm greeting with freshly baked goods, to any charger we would need, access to wifi while still being in the country, and enough things to keep my two boys busy all day! The river is right on the property, and with a quick drive down you get to see a handful of exotic deer that you can even feed! I think I could just write nice things about this place all day. Thank you Karen and John for such a great experience and we look forward to next time!!
