"We had an amazing stay for our long weekend for our family of 5. (3 college kids, so 5 adults!) Super clean, cute, spacious property, comfy beds, reclining couches to put your feet up after hiking, covered deck w hot tub w privacy, everything you need in the house. Pictures don’t do it justice. Location is perfect, right near highway, 10-15min drive to Hocking Hills hiking, restaurants, ice cream, mini golf and grocery nearby. Wormburner golf was fun. Cool coffee shop. "Fantastic place to get away from home and enjoy the country! My family and I absolutely loved the peace and quiet! The kitchen and bathrooms are fantastic and all the amenities you need are supplied! The little extras, like the s'mores ingredients, the host supplied were perfect! It's getting really hard to find a nice place to stay, in the Hocking Hills area, that is big enough for a family of 5, that doesn't cost an unreasonable amount of money! "We had a fabulous time at Lakeside Hideaway! The owners are very responsive and you can tell they take pride in their property! The house was extremely clean, plenty of of towels, comfortable beds and patio furniture. The extra touches from the owners didn't go unnoticed. They have thought of everything you could possibly need! We enjoyed having meals and playing cards outside on the patio, the fire pit, the basketball court, hot tub and the view of the lake. "We loved this location. It was absolutely an amazing spot right across from lake Logan with multiple areas to fish and right by popular hiking destinations. Property manager was excellent with communication and check in was a breeze. Only reason I gave this an overall 4 star was due to sleeping complication. The air mattress for two of our family of 4 had a hole in it, so sleeping was really difficult and not great.(Floor sleeping/bench sleeping) I believe property manager replaced that for...

"When you first turn on to Phelps road to get to your cabin you see the scariest, trashiest junkyard to the right , that is quite large and off putting. It’s kinda creepy BUT once you do find your turn to head towards your cabin it’s very secluded and the perfect place for a quiet get away.
