My husband and I had a very relaxing time away. It was the perfect cabin away from noise, stress of work, and running around with all of our kids. Highly recommend and very close to Trials! Thank you

Cozy cabin! A great getaway from the suburbs!

Hocking Hills area is so quaint! Many things to do. Our Turtle Hill cabin was tucked away and private. We loved it! Great hot tub too.

This cabin is a true gem and our stay was lovely.

The tranquility here is off the scale. We greatly appreciated the furnishings and the kitchen had all that we needed for food prep. All in all we had a great and relaxing stay. Thank you for this place beautiful place to unwind.

Peaceful and relaxing stay!

The Whip-poor-will cabin is small and crooked and nestled on the side of a hill, but perfect in every way! Wonderful view, quiet and so relaxing. It is just close enough to all of the sites to be handy, yet far enough away from the traffic.

Quite getaway (off the grid)

My spouse and I, along with our pup, wanted a quiet getaway and step away from the daily hustle of our day to day life. This cabin fit the bill perfectly!

My husband and I were very pleased with everything. The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Only down side was the bed. It definitely needs upgraded to a more comfortable mattress!

Everything that was described in the listing was accurate. Beautiful scenery, quiet and secluded. Fire-pit to sit around and whirlpool to conclude the night. A fully stocked kitchen with all the plates and stuff that you might need. I do have a couple of concerns worth of mentioning though. The microwave was mounted in such a way that the door only opened a quarter of the way, so you’re limited to what you could put in the microwave. But that was the small issue. The larger issue was the floor. It is buckling and unsafe to walk on. The hallway is sloping at a 20 to 25 angle so you’re walking on a slope when you walk through the hall. There’s some sort of water leakage coming out from under the floorboard. You can see that the floor is separating from itself and honestly, I think this place should be shut down. Just for safety reasons for nothing more than just that. If this was a well built house, I would book it every single weekend! It’s that beautiful of an area. Unfortunately, this will be one that we will not be returning to.

The relaxing get away that we needed.

This cable was in a great location. I was able to disconnect and spend time with my partner and take in the sights and sounds of the Hocking Hills area. We both enjoyed the comfort of the cabin and the distance it was away from everything. Perfect size and one would book again for our next trip.

Awesome Little Cabin

This place was PERFECT for our little getaway to Hocking Hills. Great proximity to everything, nice and private and super clean. Had every amenity you could need, right down to coffee, ice and olive oil. 15/10, we completely recommend it!

It was a great relaxing time and plenty to explore around there the seclusion is nice also here.

We loved the area and even so much to explore around the cabin . Very secluded which we wanted only thing we didn't care for is the bed it was pretty hard and the frames squeaky.but it was over all the best lil vacation we could have asked for. We will be back again

Weekend Getaway

Overall pleased with the cabin and our stay. Communication was easy and the check-in / check-out processes were a breeze. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and slanted so you have to sleep at the foot of it. The hot tub is in need of some maintenance (still working though).

The cabin was clean and comfortable. But the entire structure is slanting terribly. The foundation of the whole cabin needs restructuring.

Cabin in the woods

Really nice cute place. Nice hot tub. The cabin was clean and well decorated.The bed was squeaky and somewhat comfortable. Water pressure weak after flushing the toilet. The floor slopes a little at the back of the cabin. All in all a fun little place for a getaway.

Cozy cabin getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at the Whip-poor-will cabin. It was perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. We enjoyed the surrounding area, very secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed the nice sized deck on the cabin as well as the fire pit. The location worked very well for our visits to the various sites in Hocking Hills. The host provided a binder of information including maps as well as an online pdf guidebook that was helpful in locating the various sites/hikes and nearby grocery stores and restaurants. The host was very communicative in addressing our questions/issues. This was our first visit to Hocking Hills and we had a great weekend getaway!

An escape into the woods that we both needed .

From the chirping of the woods , to the laughter of the owls at night … we lived in our little world . The cabin was perfect in every way . Make sure you get the code before you enter the property . We had to walk up the hill to get cell service . lol

Nice and quiet

Road in and out is narrow, actual signage to the drive entrance cannot be seen at night. A. Mirror in the bathroom would be nice, toilet cubby is very tight. Over all nice secluded location. Everything needed was there.

Cozy couples cabin retreat to get away to unplug

Yes, the cabin is slanty. Yes, the road to it is a lil treacherous (to be expected in Hocking Hills), and there was some construction happening nearby for part of our trip… But for all its quirks, the place was charming and we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is nestled into the side of a hill that overlooks a small creek. We loved the fire pit, walking around the grounds, and the gorgeous views. It’s a bit off the beaten path and was the perfect spot to get away and unplug. We had some minor issues and the hosts communicated promptly and resolved them. Overall, we’re happy and had a great time!
