"Hidden gem located on the loch. Counldnt be more dog friendly. Lovely comfortable bed and powerful shower, food was excellent and also a lovely pub 15 mins walk away too. We will definitely go back."

"Friendly staff. The hotel seems a bit run down. The walls in the room were stained, the ceiling seemed to have leakage spots, the beds were unstable and uncomfortable. If you arrive with car, you are not guaranteed a parking sport, and if you do get one, it’s not certain you have it the next day, if you are away with it during the day. The location is good and if you have a sea view it’s a comprising factor. "

Immaculately presented accommodation, helpful staff and lovely food. The grounds are breathtaking, and the quirkiness of the woods, friendly chickens, peacocks and alpacas make this a place I will re-visit."

"I am rooting for these guys! It’s a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots. We loved the views and the grounds and the library with the assortment of whiskeys. Here is a photo of some highlights! The library and the peacock and the views. Looks like a castle. "

"The venue is up a gradual slope, being around a 10 minute walk from the town centre however the view of the harbour during the walk is beautiful. Being close to the pulpit hill viewpoint makes a nice trip being only a couple minutes walk from the venue.
Carolyn was very welcoming and seeing me as a female sole traveler, made me feel very safe and gave me suggestions for the best places to visit.

" From the street the outside of the hotel is nothing special but once you see your room a wonderful cosiness welcomes you. My room was spacious with a good size desk, sofa and table plus a nice bed. I really enjoyed my stay in this room. The bathroom was small - a bit too small. The breakfast was delicious and the service great. The hotel is situated 2 minutes walk from the shops and the harbour. This is a hotel to remember for a later trip."

"The place is okay. The price is a bit expensive compared to the room I got. It seems old and there is a lot of noise from the neighboring rooms next door and above. The room faced away from the sea, and the ventilation from the kitchen came up outside the window. It is clean, neat and has a nice bathroom that seems new."
