My twin room was really comfortable with great touches like a bathrobe, cafetière and good selection of teas. The large bathroom is across the hall but private to your room, wasn’t a problem at all. "We loved staying in the yurt! We were walking the Rob Roy Way and treated ourselves to a bed for the night. Melanie was a really relaxed host and very welcoming, and made a killer breakfast in the morning which set us up well for a day of walking. "

"All aspects of the hotel were very good, all rooms were pleasingly decorated and as you would wish in a traditional highland hotel, even down to some whisky in the room. We requested a front room and this was provided. Great cooking. "

"Excellent location for a short stay. We stayed in the maxwells which were very comfortable with all the right facilities. My only suggestion would be to provide split bins for waste and recycling (landfill / plastic and tins) along with a tub for compostable waste. "

"The highland gate was ok. The reception and the resteraunt was what all the pictures was about. I cozy inn with bar and comfort. But the rooms was in another building, and was, what it seems like, an old nursering home. Even the help buttons and the pull cord was still in the room.
