"Positano is not for the weak of walking, if you can't or have large issues with walking this is not the place for you unless you have a Sherpa. That being said, Villa Yiara is fantastic, this was an anniversary trip for us so yes, we splurged and paid for the suite. The staff is so helpful. They have a list of restaurants to try and one of them even has a driver that will pick you up and return you to your hotel at no charge,, but tip the driver please. "I highly recommend a stay here. These are quiet and comfortable family-owned rooms set in Piano di Sorrento (about 4 km from the centre of Sorrento). It is a 6-minute walk from Piano train station. It has a large swimming pool set in a large garden with good parking. There is a small number of staff, so you will have to plan your needs. "My husband and I had the most lovely stay!! Giacomo was an incredible host! So kind and so very helpful! He warmly greeted us at check in and toured us around the space. He provided us with recommendations for food, transportation, and excursions. The space was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Drinks, snacks, and water were provided in the room, an extra bonus! "Vi ankom med tog fra Napoli og stod af ved S.Agnelo. Det var en kort gåtur fra stationen til hotellet. Værelset var dejligt,og personalet var meget venligt.Vi kom tidligt men fik straks adgang til værelset.Poolen var ikke så stor men underbar, og vandkvaliteten blev løbende tjekket. Det var en dejlig pool-bar hvor man kunne købe mad og forfriskninger hele dagen. Morgenmaden i haven, under citrustræerne vil vi huske længe,især den friskpressede appelsinjuicen!
