"I had to check out due to the COLD!
Read this before going!
This was the cheapest I could find. Never again!
I check in at the pub ("reception") and there reasonably nice welcome. Had been "upgraded" for free they told me. I obviously said thanks and went up with the host. I got inside, and they left.
immediately it becomes evident that heating the room is an issue. The pub is probably an old heritage building, old enough that it'll be daft cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

"Great place, made such a change from regular hotels with personal touches. Room was a great size & included a sofa & small table/chairs.
The small tea/coffee station with some breakfast options included in the room was the bit the bowled me over… a treat at 6am, cereal & fruit, new milk & yogurt, plus proper coffee bags, even a tray to carry it to the table.
I did eat downstairs within the restaurant on the 1st night which was fab… calzone pizza special & cookie dough special were both tasty &...
"We stayed one night.
The inn is perched up right on the edge of the moors with some stunning views.
It is a 2 min walk down the hill to the beautiful hamlet or up the very steep hill to the ruins of the old iron ore furnaces.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic we would book again.

"The place is cosy and the bed was comfy, however there were no sockets next to the bed and worse, there was no water pressure in the shower at all. The staff promised to remedy it, but ultimately didn't do anything about it. Maybe a bad room, maybe a bad inn."
"Had a wonderful stay at a wonderful pub. Location is perfect and character of the pub is amazing. Lovely locally brewed beer and great food. Bad timing on our part that the brewery was closed so couldn't do the tour but gives u great excuse to go back. "
"Der var ikke morgenmad, da indehaveren ikke lige var klar over at det var booket så han havde ikke noget købt ind det skulle være bestilt dagen før, området var ikke attraktivt og selv grunden var under større ombygning, meget små værelser, mit rum på 6 kvm blev betgenet som en suite med eget bad og toilet, nå ja så vil jeg nødig have set de andre værelser ikke et Hotel som Hotels.com burde samarbejde med, jeg skal ikke bo der igen"
