"What a beautiful, newly renovated property! The front desk clerk was excellent and we were greated by staff wirking around the property. The room was immmaculate, so clean and smelled fresh. The breakfast started at 6:00 and was lovely. I would stay here again!!"

"Great bed and breakfast place. Wonderful breakfast (good coffee, fruit, waffles), friendly guests, and great hosts. Beautiful view of Saint John port, able to open windows for night breeze, and very close to downtown (easy drive) and close to reversible Falls area. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St John. The pool was an extra bonus point. It was very clean and welcoming. The water could have been warmer but I liked it. The staff was extra nice. Especially the doormen, they were very helpful!"

"We found Chipman Hall to be such a cozy and charming historic space. The bedding was very comfortable and we had a restful sleep. The entire space had everything we needed with a little kitchenette and spot to relax.
Note to visitors, the lot behind the hotel is free on weekends after 6pm, as is the red rose lot nearby, as long as your vehicle is moved by noon, the following day.
We loved our stay and will definitely return!"

While the outside is not much to look at, the inside is updated and clean! Room was clean and comfortable, with updated bathrooms, floors and a comfortable large bed.
Didn’t use the indoor pool and hot tub due to time constraints, but we did look at it and it looked very clean and welcoming
