"Wow what a beautiful location. We were there right at the peak of fall leaf colors. Would have loved to take a kayak out with my fish rods but the water was cold and we had some rough waters that week. Would love to go back and enjoy this area in the summer.The place was clean and comfortable.So much to do and see in the area so we were only there to sleep at night. "

"We brought our own motor boat easy to access from public launch. Live locally just brought truck trailer back home. Had our own private dock which was great! Site was clean and completely set up to relax! Even firepit had been prepped w wood! From silverware to fresh water of plenty, to bedding, med kit, bug spray, charged batteries for fan/ lantern. The shared outhouse was very clean as well. The only tweak I would suggest is to have extra toulet paper in holder in bathroom and have much bigger...

"I will return. I could have stayed longer. It was a nice respite from a stressful life. Hosts were amazing. Extremely accommodating! My dog loved being able to swim (and chase sticks - finally learned to bring them back to the beach) every day. I think it helped that the hosts left a container of the training cookies. And they left a dog bowl, which I forgot. The wood stove was perfect for keeping us warm at night and when my dog was a still chilly after her swims. Again, I will return!"
