    Nestled in the peaceful hills of the village Malveira da Serra, within the breathtaking Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, you find this unique 2-bedroom villa. Designed by the famous architect Thiago Braddell it captures the spirit of historical Sintra, presented in a new built house finished in 2025. A serene retreat surrounded by nature!



    The house combines traditional Portuguese architectural elements with carefully curated interior design, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere throughout. Each space has been thoughtfully styled with distinctive finishes, rich textures, and unique decorative details that make every room feel special.



    Please note: this is strictly a no-shoes house. To preserve the beauty, cleanliness, and carefully maintained interiors of this unique home, guests are kindly required to remove their shoes upon entering.



    Just minutes from the dramatic Atlantic coastline of Guincho and the vibrant town of Cascais, this tranquil hideaway offers the perfect balance between nature, comfort, and sophisticated design — an ideal place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of Portugal.



    The Space:

    This charming two-bedroom home features two comfortable bedrooms and a separate office with dedicated study/workspace, making it ideal for couples, small families, or guests who wish to combine relaxation with remote work.



    The interiors are full of character and personality. Beautiful wooden floors, textured ceilings, decorative lighting, and curated furnishings create a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.



    The living room is bright and inviting, with large windows framing the surrounding greenery and hills of the natural park. It's a wonderful place to unwind after a day exploring Cascais, Guincho beach, or the nearby hiking trails.



    The fully equipped kitchen offers everything needed to prepare meals at home and features elegant cabinetry, classic tile work, and quality appliances. Gas is used for the stovetop burners, with sufficient gas bottles provided for guest stays.



    Both bedrooms are designed as peaceful retreats with comfortable bedding and thoughtful design touches. One bedroom features warm Mediterranean tones and artwork, while the second offers a calmer minimalist aesthetic for restful nights.



    The bathrooms are individually designed, combining classic Portuguese tilework, vintage-inspired fixtures, and modern comfort.



    The home also includes a dedicated workspace, ideal for remote work or quiet reading.



    Outside, the property opens to a beautiful landscaped garden terrace, designed to highlight the tranquility of the natural surroundings. Guests can enjoy the peaceful outdoor setting beneath the pergola, relax near the fountain, or cook outdoors using the Weber barbecue.



    Surrounded by nature and overlooking the hills of the Sintra Natural Park, the property offers a rare sense of calm and privacy while remaining close to the coast.

    The washing machine is located in the small outdoor shed, and drying racks are available both in the garden and inside the house.

    The Neighborhood:

    Malveira da Serra is one of the most peaceful and picturesque villages in the Cascais region. Located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Sintra mountains, the area is known for its natural beauty, hiking trails, and panoramic views.



    The village itself has a wonderful, authentic character — everything you need is within walking distance (note that the terrain is hilly). For dining, the village offers a great variety: Estrela da Serra is the most well-known spot, beloved for its rustic and cozy international and Portuguese menu; Maria Garden is a local favourite serving Portuguese cuisine with a creative twist and lovely outdoor seating; and O Farol da Serra specialises in traditional Portuguese and fish dishes. Rounding out the options are an Italian restaurant, a sushi place, a café, and several very local Portuguese bars. Day-to-day essentials are also covered, with a SPAR supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, and ATM all nearby.



    The famous Guincho Beach, a favourite among surfers and nature lovers, is only a short drive away. The charming town of Cascais is also nearby, offering excellent restaurants, beaches, a marina, and a historic town centre.



    Despite being close to the coast, Malveira da Serra maintains a quiet village atmosphere where nature and tranquility define the lifestyle. This area is ideal for:

    Getting Around:

    The property is best accessed by car, allowing guests to explore the surrounding region easily.

    Guincho Beach – 8 minutes

    Cascais – 12 minutes

    Sintra – 20 minutes

    Lisbon – 35 minutes via A5 motorway

    Cascais also offers train connections directly to Lisbon.



    Other Things to Note:

    Rental Contract

    All guests will be required to sign a rental agreement before check-in. This is standard practice in Portugal and helps ensure clarity for both guests and property owners.



    Pre-Arrival Form

    All guests are required to complete a pre-arrival form before their stay.



    Accommodation Details

    All our properties are self-catering. However, we provide:



    Beds made with fresh linen and towels



    Basic amenities such as toilet paper and soap for the first 1–2 days



    Additional linen, baby equipment, and beach equipment can be arranged upon request.



    Additional Services

    Airport transfers and day trips (including baby seats if required) can be arranged in advance.



    Garden Maintenance

    The garden is professionally maintained. A gardener may visit once per week to care for the plants and landscaping.



    House Rules:



    No parties or loud music are allowed

    Quiet hours are legally enforced from 23:00 to 08:00

    No additional guests are permitted without prior approval

    No pets are allowed at the property



    For safety and operational reasons:

    The fireplace in the living room is not permitted for guest use

    Please ensure the barbecue is used responsibly and returned to its designated area after use

    Guests should take care when using outdoor areas to protect the newly landscaped garden and plants



    Failure to follow house rules may result in additional charges or termination of the stay.
