At the time I visited it, the infrastructure was small, with only one bar and one restaurant. The sand was contaminated with many algae, but I was informed that some of the algae are left on the beach because they are part of a micro ecosystem. Behind the beach there is a lagoon that at the time exuded a strong swamp smell.
