"This was our second visit to Madison and by far the best. The Artist's A-Frame was perfect, from the beautiful decorations, comfortable bed, and every amenity. We just wanted a quiet little get away from the day to day, and this was the answer. It is definitely on our "do again" list. So grateful for those who share their little paradises with others!"

"We had such a nice time in this beautiful home. We were able to walk and explore historic downtown Madison and hike nearby Clifty Falls State Park. The owner was wonderful in his communication, help and thoughtfulness. We enjoyed fun meals at the long dining room table. Our granddaughter was enchanted by the backyard outside warm lights. "Nice and private. Nice yard and fire pit. Very clean. The pullout bed is rough sleeping...be nicer if some kind of thin rollout foam cushion to throw on top. Upstairs bed is comfy with low ceiling. Didn't have any dish soap left, no chocolate for s'mores (was in ad or wouldn't mention). No wood for fire. We purchased those 3 items and was too windy to have a fire sadly 😥. On the whole we were very happy and had a nice time. Host was great!"

"The hotel was beautiful and conveniently located. The hotel was lovely, clean, and full of history. It had amazing high ceilings and huge windows with a beautiful view of the bridge and the Ohio River. It was also next to a park which was nice for my son. "My husband and I and our 13 pound dog spent a delightful two nights at this adorable, immaculately kept home. The house is tastefully decorated, has a well equipped kitchen, two nice bathrooms and a nicely landscaped enclosed backyard. It’s also within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have asked for more and will absolutely rent this home on our next Madison visit."

Once upon a time…
"I Think Galt is an OK Old-timers hotel. Nothing special and here is the issue - they believe they are special - but at Best impossible Big with to many facilities or at worst out sourced francises with no quality control. I bought myself breakfast at Walkers Exchange - great coffee, rest delivered back at a full 26 dollar charge - leaving a huge hotel in an empty stomach of course doesn’t improve your already so-so experience - so ok hotel - ok surrounding, but not worth the price and zero internal quality control in my mind. Will I be back - NO!"
