L’Opporak, a country house near Auxerre

Welcome to our family country house!
Located in a small village, 12 km from Auxerre, this mid-20th century house is an ideal base for exploring the whole region. Its large garden allows for moments of relaxation and play during your weekends and family vacations.

With its 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and large living area, this house will comfortably welcome family and friends for your gatherings in the countryside.

It consists of two levels:
On the ground floor, there is a large room that occupies half of the house with a spacious kitchen and a cozy living room for your relaxing evenings and board games. The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, and dishwasher, and its large table can accommodate up to 8 people.
The living area features two sofas around a coffee table, framed by a decorative fireplace and a pellet stove (pellets provided).

Upstairs, you will find 4 bedrooms:
- One bedroom with a large bed (160 cm X 190) with its own private bathroom
- One bedroom with a large bed (140 cm X 190) that includes a baby bed
- One bedroom with 2 single beds equipped with numerous toys and games for children.
- A room with 3 single beds, including 2 bunk beds, which will delight the teens.
- A small bathroom and separate toilet complete the floor.

Outside, you will find some barns: one can house your car, and the other stores the outdoor furniture. A large, very pleasant garden will host your outdoor meals and family games: swings, soccer goals, petanque, archery, balls... many activities are offered to you.

You will have access to most of the house: only one storage room will be closed. Outside, barns are open: you will be able to use two of them. However, we ask you not to access the third one. More details will be provided upon your arrival regarding this.

Nathalie will contact you a few days prior to your stay to arrange your arrival time: she will be there to welcome you, will be reachable throughout your stay, and will be present during your departure.She can advise you on the tourist options in the region: don’t hesitate to contact her before your stay.

WARNING: Nathalie does not live on-site. Therefore, the appointment for arrival is mandatory.

The house is closed off from the outside: it is upon entering the property that you will see all the charm of this place. The garden is indeed a place where you will enjoy resting, spending time together, and playing with the children. The house itself offers interesting accommodation capacity for families and a warm living room.

Note:
- the barbecue mentioned is actually a gas plancha
- heating is provided by a pellet stove (pellets provided). The fireplace is not functional
- the beds are made upon your arrival: sheets, comforters, and pillows are provided
- we do not provide towels or table linens: please remember to bring your own towels, dish towels, and other household linens.
