I think Eleonore's Restaurant is at present only open for dinner on Wednesday evenings but plenty of restaurants not far away in Lilydale, and Yarra Glen township is only about 5 minutes from Chateau Yering. "Ambiance of the property and breakfast was great. Discrepancies between lastminute.com and the accomodation was frustrating as was seeking information around booking e.g different policies, instructions were not provided on where to put the keys on departure. "

"The property is isolated & far from the shops but very relaxed. We came from a wedding event & drove back in the dark thru the winding road but it was a pleasant drive. You are in the heart of nature. Plenty of walking tracks. There's a water fall nearby. The Dandenong Botanical Garden is also close by (drive). We'll be coming back to this property time & again. Highly recommended 👌 "

"Had an amazing stay. I stayed in the Garden Cottage and it was beautiful. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and they supplied plenty of wood for the open fire. An added bonus was breakfast supplies in the fridge including bacon and eggs and the bread they had was delicious as well. The grounds were quiet and it was an easy walk to both lower and upper Olinda. Lots of cafes and hiking spots close by as well. I’ll definitely be staying here for my next getaway. "

"the rooms were very clean the staff were great the STAFF at the pub i would not recommend they were not very good at there job one- they placed you at a table two- they finally took your order it took a while three- i had finished my meal i had to find a staff member to get my desert "
