The surrounding area is rich with picturesque villages, lively attractions and spectacular countryside, including the walking trails of Dartmoor National Park (10 miles) and the Roadford Lake Activity Centre (1.5 miles). Conveniently located just off the A30 and near the Cornish border, the lodge provides easy access to popular spots across Devon and Cornwall with Dartmoor on its doorstep and, just a little further, the coastal town of Bude (20 miles) with its golden sandy beaches, local shops, and fine eateries; the cobbled streets of Clovelly; sandy Widemouth Bay; and the magical Tintagel Castle (all within 25 miles).

Ideal for couples seeking a cosy getaway or families and groups of up to six, the lodge features three beautifully appointed bedrooms. The elegant master suite boasts a king-size bed, ample storage, and a spacious en-suite shower room. Two additional twin bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements, one of which can be made up as a king-size bed on request. A large family bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC ensures everyone has space to refresh after a day of exploring. Whether you're curling up on the sofa after an adventure-filled day or waking up to peaceful surroundings, this thoughtfully designed lodge offers the perfect balance of comfort and style for an unforgettable holiday.


The large south facing private terrace is the perfect spot to relax and unwind, offering uninterrupted views across open fields—a stunning backdrop for morning coffees, al fresco dining, or sunset drinks. For the ultimate indulgence, sink into the bubbling hot tub and let the warm water soothe your senses as you take in the fresh countryside air or enjoy stargazing. An outdoor dining table with seating for six invites you to enjoy leisurely meals under the open sky, while the handy Hook and Cook BBQ holders allow for effortless outdoor grilling with disposable BBQs—perfect for sizzling up a feast. Designed for both relaxation and privacy, the patio is enclosed with a secure gate at one end and coated mesh fencing at the other – helpful for those with dogs or young children – creating a welcoming and private space where you can fully embrace outdoor living. In addition to your private space, the site also provides a shared gym for guests to enjoy at no extra cost, as well as direct access down the woodland path to the stunning Roadford Lake and its welcoming cafe and children’s woodland play area. The site has two EV charging points for guest use, situated along from reception in two designated parking spaces. The EV charging point is by VendElectric, and charging will have associated costs as normal via their app.
