The bed was very large and comfortable but slightly firm. There is a lovely view over the garden towards the river. We ate in the hotel both evenings and couldn’t understand why it wasn’t busier as both meals were delicious. "

"Was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and accommodating in a quiet area. Only concerning might be parking, as it’s sometimes quite difficult with a large vehicle. Would consider staying here again if we come to Scotland in the future."

"Lovely little hotel, great host, very friendly, clean and comfortable room, we chose this hotel because it was Pet Friendly and it didn’t disappoint, the only negative is no evening meals, but you can drive into Lanark 4 miles away where there’s a great choice, there’s also a small supermarket opposite. Apart from that we had a great stay and would definitely use again"
