"What a beautiful and wonderful place to stay. The view is unparalleled and the room, overall, was my favorite of all of the places we stayed on this vacation. I would absolutely stay here again. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and the shower - perfection. Tea and biscuits every morning and they even gave me extra, when I mentioned how much I liked them. All in all, I loved it. Highly recommend."

And the opportunity to buy bread, fruit, eggs etc for your breakfast was a perfect idea. The location was very good, a 5 min walk to the center of town. "This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem."
