We were visiting town for Risefest in Sheldon and found LeMars to be a beautiful place to stay overnight - that coincidentally had their own Ice Cream Festival going on the same weekend. The fresh scent(not overpowering) ,the luxurious towels,lovely room & very comfy bed all made it so enjoyable. Appreciated the breakfast & coffee machine! "I was impressed both by the cleanliness and the personality of this motel. It's not your normal cooky cutter hotel that all look alike on the inside. It has a throwback charm to it that is very unique. It could use a bit of paint touch up in a couple of corners and there were a few very minor chips in the furniture that just added to the charm.
The breakfast was no feast, but nice, with waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of coffees, several different cereals, and a few breads.

"Very nice hotel in a popular part of town. Close to casino and bar area. Room was great and staff was accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay. Only issue was lack of clean towels for second day and the pool was out of service for an extended period. "

"The mattress was EXTREMELY firm with pretty soft/squishy pillows and a lack of dedicated headboard (instead has some stiffer memory-foam esque square pillows for the headboard). However, it had a mattress cover/protector without even requesting so no worries about bugs!
No breakfast included but is pretty walkable to a few cafes, and has a decent amount of bars/brewhubs nearby. The side facing the street could get a bit noisy at night but indoors was pretty quiet.
Free wifi and free parking...

"I haven't seen anything I didn't like, my 82 year old is with me and they have us a ground floor which was very nice. Check in was very quick and efficient which I really appreciated after a long day on the road. Excellent stay"
