Speaking personally I would have liked a few more of those lovely vegetables to accompany the very tasty belly pork main course! Plenty of parking - very close to the accommodation. "Booked this hotel as the rest of our large group were staying at The Ivy Bush Hotel opposite, where they had been recommended.
We were not disappointed, the hotel was beautifully decorated and everywhere spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was included and was scrummy.
Our friends at The Ivy Bush were extremely disappointed with their accommodation and evening meal and next time will book the Spilman Hotel.

The breakfast is simple and nothing special and the rooms are tiny. The shower was quite bad with no pressure on the water and we were very surprised to come home after a long day walking and then realise that they are not even making the beds for you. Have never tried that in a B&B before. Really think the owners need to improve the...
