Really good place. Warm water, near the beach, beautiful place. The only downside is that we got a dirty towel in the room and that they don’t give towels for the beach.

The attention of the staff and the atmosphere was excellent, however the cleanliness of the room was not appropriate, my daughter was stung by bedbugs while sleeping in her bed, the bathrooms were dirty of the previous tenants and the showers full of hair

We arrived there was no electricity. The restaurant was under water because of major storm. We told reception to cancel our reservation. We drove inland to escape storm surge. We did not stay.

I do not recommend this hotel for any who are not backpackers. Its a Pimped out hostel. No reception, no service.

What a great place to visit, the people are friendly and helpful. I wanted to stay an extra night and there was no problem to help me with that. I would reccommend this gem to everyone!

The Property is ok and on the beach which is good The downside is I specifically asked for an air conditioned room and was given one without air and was booked in a TP tent. The noise on the property was awful starting from Thursday to Sunday. The music is loud and you can't get any sleep at all. They have parties without regards for others that don't party and want to rest. I will never go here again. Also when I booked I specifically asked for A/C and wifi. the gentleman who made the reservation told me the room had A/C which in fact it didn't. I will be sure to check any future reservations I make thru you.

Hi, traveler We have accommodation with A/C just not Teepee tents, these are comfortable and friendly to the environment. As for the parties, we share with all our guests this information the moment their reservation is confirmed as we mention other policies like no coolers allowed. We are saddened to read you did not have the optimal time with us. We will do our best to communicate better our events, and type of accommodations.

Pretty cool place
I had to have my room changed three times before I finally settled in. But the staff was very helpful to make sure I was satisfied with my accommodations. The bar/restaurant staff were amazing and the food memorable. Their coconut smoothies were wonderful. And you can’t beat the location.

The experience overall was good, however there were some issues. When I reserved the hotel room, the description of the room included air conditioning as well as bathroom. However when I arrived they gave me a room that had no air conditioninig and a shared bathroom. So I had to complain, and fortunately they gave me a refund for the mistakes. Apart from that they had a party at night at the bar with loud music until 6am, even though I was probably the furthest away from the bar, it was impossible to sleep until 6 am. There was no appreciation for guests that did not want to be at the party or were going to bed earlier than 6 am, there was no warning of this at all.

Not worth it.
Shared bathroom was never cleaned, let alone our room. Very expensive ($100/night) for what we got. Very Instagram worthy grounds though, which is what they are aiming for.

Gitmo-inspired jail cell
Nice beach in process of destruction by tasteless developers. Good fun for wealthy youngsters, but inappropriate for adults. I like all kinds of music, but there is no possibility of sleep anywhere on the premises before 3am on weekends due to siesmically loud disco. If you are over 40, the Invisible Old Man phenomena is strong. Continue on to Cambutal or back to Pedasi.

A $120 deluxe room cannot not have a uncomfortable bed made out of steel. the shower was dirty And I request them to clean ans they never came. In 2 days I never see the housekeeping.

A very brief review
No wastebasket in the room? Never saw that before. There was one in the shared bathroom, but not in the room. Trash, therefore was left on the floor. Sorry, that's what happens when there's no wastebasket. Room was tiny for the price, but it was all about location right on the beach.

this place is probably the best value on playa venao. the rooms are adequate and in fairly good shape and you get a little breakfast as well. the location is great and they seem to have a lot of staff on hand fixing and painting the place up etc. the service in the bar/restaurant is somewhat laughable though. it seems that this place 'hires' volunteers who work for their stay. none of these staff seem to have any knowledge or experience of working in a bar or restaurant. trying to get their attention to order something can be quite difficult. and on top of everything they add a 10% tip to the bill and don't tell you about it. plus they practically force you to tip of top of that by never giving your change back when you pay.
