"This was the perfect resort to stay in post our Everest Base Camp trek. The rooms were very comfortable and the shower was hot. We received excellent service from the restaurant staff, the spa services were high quality and the pool and hot tub were very relaxing. All in all we loved our stay at the Terraces and would recommend this as a great get-away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu / Thamel. Note that the road to the resort is steep and windy and I would recommend booking the transfer...

"Great place to stay in Kathmandu, safe and quiet street but still close to Thamel and all the shops. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The manager also helped us arrange our trek - worked out perfect! The room was ok clean, and did not look like the rooms in the pictures - it was definitely much older. Maybe we got a room in the older section, I did not mind. If you are like me and don't care so much about room standard, but rather a nice experience with great staff and...

"Definitely go for the club rooms on the 7 th floor views over the Capitol are breathtaking. Use of lounge tea ,coffee or soda 12 till 6 pm 6till 8 pm complimentary wine ,Beer , and the basic spirits. With snacks make this a very good experience at good value. Beds comfortable, showers hot,and right in the action of Thamel."
