Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.A space to retreat and just be.  We have a new cedar cabin that could be right for you.  It is located on a pond on 50 acres.  There are groomed trails and many other hiking opportunities within a 10 minute drive.
 
The cabin full insulated with propane fireplace and stove.  Firepit for those beautiful evenings and a gas BBQ ready for use.  .Transportation of your belongings to cabin is possible Cover front deck and chairs Cabin sits on 50 acres of mature white pines with 3 km of trails throughout.
Your cabin sits on a big pond. The cabin is a new build of timber framed construction. It is well insulated and the inside lined in cedar boards all cut from the ours and the neighbours property.
Heated with a gas fireplace with a rocking chair in front to cozy up to. All the kitchen amenities are available- complimentary coffee tea and single serve condiments mustard ketchup jams peanut butter there is 2 coffee presses in kitchen and a stove top toaster you only have to bring your food! There is a propane cook range with oven.a BBQ on front deck You will be supplied with fresh drinking water in 5 gallon jugs that sit above sink in the kitchen and jugs of water for dishes and cleaning.always more if needed
The cabin is off grid battery powered with solar for lights and inverter for charging laptops There's cell signal at cabin streaming is unreliable
The cabin is preheated in cold months for comfort when arriving from walk in The cabin has a propane heated shower at back in non freezing conditions with a rechargeable battery ivation shower pump


Wake up to a beautiful view of the pond. You will get lots of birds at the feeder and deer coming in the evening- lots of turkeys as well on occasion in winter Ducks in spring summer and have had trumpeter swans on occasion a lot of other native wildlife on occasion owls Grouse raccoons squirrels and 3 types of woodpecker

The campfire pit is on edge of pond with a morning view of sunrise and evening view of moonrise. There's wood for campfire on site paper and kindling is under kitchen sink. Campfire chairs and picnic table available for use.A screened in gazebo during warmer weather months and a propane heated shower in non freezing months

Lanark village is only a short drive away with a general store/ LCBO /gas station and a breakfast and lunch served at village treats a pizza can even be delivered to driveway by lanark pizzeria
The cabin sit on 50 acres with 2to3 KM of trails to hike on groomed when snow is deep enough Please bring good boots trails rocky when not covered in winter
