"The artist house is probably the CUTEST vacation rental on Lanai! The house was super comfortable and clean. It is located about a 10-12 minute walk to town which has a little market and some really great local restaurants and shops. Our group could not be happier with this rental. Very comfortable! "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The king bedroom we stayed in was spacious and had full kitchen utensils, pots, pans, microwave, fridge for making simple meals. Our room was # 215, an upstairs room which has a nice view of a garden area from the outside lanai area; and a bit of the ocean view. Across the ocean we could see Lanai island in the distance. "The property was clean and beautifully landscaped. Our room was literally steps from the beach. The pool area and outdoor grills were fantastic. The rooms are not very soundproof. You could hear what the people next to you were saying. There is no TV in room, which was a plus for me. There is a common area with TV. there are restaurants and shopping near. "We enjoyed having the pool and the beach a few steps away from our room. That was particularly nice given we traveled with our 4 year old daughter. The towel service and outdoor showers also made the beach experience pleasant. I noticed many resorts in Kaanapali are in front of the beach but the beach has little or no sand.
