"We are "stuck" here for an extra 2 days due to the Kona stirm. Staff have been exceedingy patient and friendly and accommodating during this challenging peroid. They even got me to the local emergency room for treatment of an acute injury. Our room was gorgeous!"

"Most peaceful beach, gorgeous views, within walking distance to some of the most iconic restaurants, and a great grocery store with delicious poke! Feels like home, everyone (guests, staff, etc.) are all so friendly. We saw a monk seal, sea turtles, and whales! This is the best place to be in all of Maui. We met a couple who told us they’d been vacationing to the Mauian since they honeymooned 50 years ago!!! There’s a reason they keep coming back, and we will too! ❤️❤️❤️"

"The windows in the suit do not have screens, and I talked to the hotel. They spent about 90 minutes in and out of the room and told me they cannot find the right size of screen for the windows. Also the carpet is very old and dirty and has a moldy and rotten smell, hurt my throat, and difficult to breath. Also all the window sills are very dirty. It is not in a livable condition. I talked to the front counter manager, and he finally go me a room on the last night. This room is a little better,...

"The stay was fine. My issues were with the VRBO person I was trying to deal with. Not only was there a language issue, I had no contact with my hosts because VRBO took four days to respond to my request to fix my email issue and why my booked stays were not showing up under my new email. The only good thing was the helpline person I dealt with did give me the number of the property manager so I could get the check-in info. "
