Well-Equipped Kitchen: Prepare meals with ease in our fully equipped kitchen featuring modern appliances. Complimentary tea, coffee, salt, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, and pepper are provided.

Sleeping Comfort: Four spacious bedrooms comfortably sleep eight guests, with an additional futon in the basement for two more.

Please note: While our home is regularly deep cleaned and professionally pest-controlled quarterly, its charming countryside setting means you might, on rare occasion, encounter small critters or insects—a natural part of rural life.

Ricardo and Angela were great to deal with every step of the way with prompt and clear communication. We stayed at Casa Mariposa with family and friends over New Year’s week and the cottage had everything we needed and met or exceeded all our expectations. We all thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and many open spaces where we could hang out together. The games room in the basement with the large screen & projector television was a huge hit. We would very much like to hang out here in the summer! Gordon Chabot

We stayed with another couple, as a little get away for ourselves. The house was everything advertised, and more. A hidden gem, a quick drive from town. Taking in nature, while enjoying the hot tub and sauna for relaxation. Games room didn’t get used much, as we couldn’t get enough of the outside beauty. But we did sneak a few games of pool in. The house was wonderfully maintained and clean. Excellent appliances for all our indoor and outdoor cooking needs!Thank you so much to Ricardo and Angela, who would respond within mins if we had a question or looking for advice.

Absolutely beautiful and well kept home.Ricardo and Angela ( our hosts ) were very responsive to any questions we had. Casa Mariposa is a warm and welcoming haven after a days exploration. It is well stocked , clean and spacious with all particulars documented in a lovely binder. There was something for everyone! Fire circle for marshmallow roasting, beautiful spa for relaxing, sauna too!! It was just perfect for our family of 6! Dont miss Pinery Provincial Park!!We cant wait to return!

Family of 5 plus dog stayed 3 nights/4 days. We had a great time staying at Cash Mariposa. The cottage had tons to do both inside and out. It is well maintained and Ricardo and Angela were fantastic to deal with. We hope to be back again soon.

Great stay

Casa Mariposa was the perfect spot to stay for myself and my family. With close access and a free day pass to the Pinery, the house is ideal for those that need an accessible, comfortable place to stay if your group isn't up to camp. With a sauna, hot-tub, whirlpool and a fire pit, it feels like being the campground but with so many extras. Lots of indoor activites for rainy days and additional outside games and things to do for kids. Just the right amount of communication with our host. Place was cozy and comfortable. Clean and organized. I'd totally recommend!

Great weekend

We had a little bachellorette party. Enjoyed the hot tub, putt putt and bocce ball on site. Went to shale ridge winnery up the road. But now want to come back with my kids because what a great spot for familes. So much to do without leaving but also close to the day trips like pinery and grand bend ect. Comfy beds, super clean, tons of immenities. Super well run.

Great Stay

Everything was great. Easy check-in. Plenty of room for the six of us. The games rooms use constantly being used. The bed were comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets. Hot tub was relaxing. Large kitchen. Definitely recommending the property rental to family and friends!!!

Parents Weekend Away

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway with another couple—nothing too busy, just a peaceful place to unwind, catch up, and enjoy some low-key activities. This property was the perfect fit!We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, cozying up by the outdoor fire pit, cooking delicious meals together, playing pool, and simply relaxing. The location was also ideal for visiting Shale Ridge Winery and exploring a few nearby golf courses.The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very well equipped. There was plenty of space for two couples, and we’re already thinking about coming back with our kids next time!

They thought of everything!

My family recently stayed at this property for a few nights. The communication beforehand was excellent and the hosts were always quick to answer. The property was so clean and like the title of this says, they literally thought of everything. From snacks when we arrived, to a basket of “in case you forgot” that includes chargers, toiletries etc. There were so many amenities-the hot tub was so nice on a chilly night and my teen girls loved the projection tv and pool table. The beds were so comfortable and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Fantastic Stay

I cannot think of one thing the hosts could do differently to improve upon our experience. The teens loved the PacMan and the pool table. Relaxing around the fire was great and the hot tub was enjoyed.Some little details we appreciated that are not usually found at other rentals include; oil, salt and pepper. New and matching plates, cutlery and glasses. New pots and pans. Charging ports everywhere. Fans in the bedrooms. Space heater in the basement bedroom. Coffee included. and Creamer and sugar and tea...A welcome snack basket. Smart TVs. So many board games! Clean and neutral and organized.Beach chairs.. A heater on the back deck!! I could really go on and on. This home is definitely a must.! Enjoy your stay, we certainly did.

Amazing family getaway location

From the start everything about this stay was spectacular. The communication with the hosts was prompt and they were always offering their help to us. The place was incredibly clean and the amenities were amazing. We loved the games, pool table, home theatre setup and hot tub - so much to keep us busy despite it being winter. We also loved how much baby/children’s items were there to make packing a little lighter. If you’re looking for a cozy vacation in, this is the place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Great spot for group of friends

My friends and I had a great 3 night stay here. Clean, spacious, as described. Rooms were comfy, kitchen well stocked. Pool table was a small version, and internet connection was a bit iffy, but we used hotspots and had an awesome time. Thank you!

Relaxing get a way

Clean, fun cottage. Loved the hot tub, pool table, and pac man video game! Kitchen was well equipped and the free coffee, tea, sugar, creamer were super handy! Lots of printed instructions for everything made things very easy to use.
