"This was our first trip to Shasta, and was so happy we found Shasta Lakeshore Retreat on Instagram! The house was big enough for our 12 adult guests. The dining table was perfect and we were all able to sit and eat together. The back patio sold us on renting this house, we spent every night there until it was quiet time. "Great house, great location! We stayed for 3 nights with our church youth group and truly enjoyed our time here. The 3-story layout worked perfectly for us and made it easy to separate girls and guys on different floors. A couple of amenities didn’t work (such as the ice machine), but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We would gladly stay here again "

"This is a really lovely small house toward the end of the historical Densmuir. The house has everything you could possibly need -- airconditioning, fireplace, DVD/VCR player etc. Everything for morning coffee. Comfortable bedding, well stocked bathroom. There is a fenced off section in the back for dogs or humans... It was a real pleasure. Thank you so much to our hosts!"

"Location was perfect and the room was very well outfitted. I gave four stars instead of five because the queen bed was very very firm and I think that an easy adjustment of mattress (or adding a queen topper) could make it five star. "

The bathroom & kitchen were well equiped & spotless. The setup is great, but lots of stairs. When I first saw Whole House, thought it included the street level door. I have mobility issues so thought I could walk right in. Nope, it is only the upstairs. It is located conveniently near cafes, bakeries etc, but not...
