"A wonderful place to stay for a family holiday in the Lakes. Not easy to drive to so good for people who want to do lots of walks and exploring in the area. There is a beautiful waterfall only about 15 mins walk from the house. We also went swimming in Brotherswater. The view from the house was amazing and the house itself was very well equipped with plenty of games and books available. "

"This house was magical for my family trip to England! Myself, husband, my parents and 88 year old grandmother stayed here. The house had everything we could need for our stay. (down to a hairdryer with diffuser for curly hair like mine!) More than ample space for us all together. The town is nice, and we explored the area on foot, great food and amazing views all within a few minutes walk. I was so happy with this house, and look forward to staying there again."

"Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. "Nicely renovated to a high standard. All the mod cons Well equipped kitchen and it was great having a washer/dryer. Great location to base yourself in the Lake District. Tasha the host replied very quickly with my questions. There is a TV in every room. They even have Alexa.I wouldn't recommend this place if you have mobility issues.
