"Room is gorgeous. Staff are friendly. Have to mention the garden is fabulous, peacock, black swan, cranes habitat by the lake. Plants are well labeled like botanic garden. Top-notch dining, food and services are state level. In addition to authentic local cuisine fine-tuned with considerations to health, the seafood dishes are superb. Definitely we will choose the same hotel next time there."

"The staff was really nice and friendly, and their garden was beautiful. However the rooms were not so nice. The bed was rock hard and their sheets were dirty. Would be nice to have a shower door too. It was a place to sleep and that's it."

"For the price this was a really good hotel with a lot of comforts. The service was excellent and everything was done to ensure I had a good stay. I was able to let a suitcase remain while I travelled around Yunnan returning a week later to collect it free of charge. Any one traveling to Kunming I would recommend this hotel."
