Welcome to Whaler 508. This condo is situated in a quiet North Tower location providing stunning ocean & Black Rock views. Admire sunsets, whales, sailboats, & Black Rock torch lighting from your large private lanai. This spacious 1 bedroom/2 bath floorpan provides can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. Remodeled in 2024 with new cabinetry, quartz countertops, high end appliances, new bathrooms, furniture, lux vinyl flooring, sofa sleeper, smart TV, Sonos Sound System, & more. Book 508 today!

🏠 THE SPACE

Primary Suite: King size bed. Primary suite has its own walk in closet, Smart TV with cable , and a remodeled ensuite bathroom. There is a custom walk in shower, washer/dryer, and beautiful bright vanity with plenty of drawer space. There is also a hallway area by another entrance door that has all the beach gear you will need for a great day(Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler). We do not provide snorkel gear.



Second bathroom: Located in the common area on the side of the kitchen and living room this full bathroom features an updated shower/tub combo, toilet, and clean vanity with storage.



Common area: We have an open floor plan consisting of a remodeled fully equipped gourmet kitchen with high end appliances, breakfast bar(4 seats), large flat screen Smart TV with cable, comfortable sofa sleeper, and reclining chair.



Lanai: This shaded are includes dining table for 4 people and 2 lounge chairs to enjoy the ocean and Black Rock view and nightly torch lighting ceremony.

🚗 PARKING & FEES

Aston reservation/resort fee: $35/day, collected at front desk upon check-in.

Damage Insurance Fee: $100 Airbnb damage insurance fee covers up to $1,500 in accidental damage. Accidents happen — we have you covered.

🏨ZONING: This property is Hotel Zoned and NOT in danger of the possible upcoming short term rental ban.



🚧CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: The Whaler will be doing routine painting/scaffolding work of building one's exterior throughout 2024 and early 2025. This project will impact some of the surrounding lanais. Please consider this when booking. It will not affect any view or amenities.



🦎🐓PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.



☀️CLIMATE: Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. Fabulous 5 night stay for 3 adults who appreciated the easy access to the beach and restaurants. The condo was better than expected in terms of cleanliness and spaciousness. The premium for the condo being renovated and having two full bathrooms was well worth it. We visited during December at the start of whale season and the effort of bringing binoculars from home on an 11 hour flight was rewarded with being able to view whales far off in the distance from the balcony.

This unit is impeccably updated/decorated and comfortable, with all items we could need. The bed was extremely comfortable, slept like a baby. The location of the Whaler Resort was perfectly situated for anything we wanted to do. A wonderful home away from home and would stay here again!

Wedding Anniversary

This home is truly amazing. It's even better in person. It has everything you could want for a relaxing getaway.Loved the location. Took lots of walks, went shopping,restaurants are super close and good. Had to go to Mama's Fish House, Merriman's and Plantation House.The sound of the waves, the sunrise & sunsets are hard to beat. Oh and turtles swimming by daily!!We had a slight hiccup on first day but Stay Aloha was quick to respond and took care of everything. We would love to go back and stay longer. Best Anniversary yet!!!

Beautiful property!

This is the third time we've stayed at the Whaler and the first time at this property because we only needed a one bedroom condo. It has recently been completely renovated and it is just beautiful and well-appointed. It is on the quiet side of the resort with a fantastic view of Black Rock and neighboring island Molokai. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful property!

Great location

We had an excellent stay at Whaler 508. It is quiet, comfortable and perfectly located near Black Rock and Whalers Village. Everything was exactly as described and it is a wonderful play to stay - I cannot think of one thing wrong!

Family getaway

Stayed for 4 days in Kaanapali, chose the Whaler for its close proximity to the village, dining and steps to the pool and beach. The condo felt like home away from home, the kids loved using the boogie boards and swimming with the turtles just downstairs from our unit. Kitchen is well equipped, we made breakfast every morning and ate it on the lanai, the grill area downstairs is super convenient, we dined next door at Monkey pod and Leilani's which are fabulous. We could live here, and we will certainly be back. When we transitioned to our location in Wailea, everyone missed the convenience of the condo immediately. Thank you!

February in Maui is Fabulous!

This unit provided the perfect environment for our winter get-away. The unit is on the quiet side of the complex with wonderful views of the beach and Black Rock. We loved listening to the waves crash through the open windows. I wish we had thought to bring binoculars but even without them, we could see whales from the lanai and the beach. I was shocked at how close they are to the beach. My husband was happy to lounge on the balcony and read between our adventuring out. The kitchen is fully equipped and up-to-date. We didn't do much cooking, but breakfast was easy and we felt fortunate to have access to a full kitchen. Stay Aloha shared a lovely welcome basket packed with Hawaiian treats. We appreciated having coffee available on our first morning without having to go to the grocery store. The bed in this unit was the most comfortable that we have ever slept on! I would absolutely buy the same type for my own home. I had anticipated having to use the Murphy Bed in the living room, but the bed was so great that I was never disturbed by husband's usual twitching and moving throughout the night. It was perfect - best sleep ever! Beach chairs and umbrella are available for tenant use. Boogie boards and beach reads were also on hand. We had a little bit of a learning curve to figure out the TV (Super Bowl) and called the property manager - super responsive and polite. We will be back!

Beautiful Unit and Amazing Management Company

First of all this unit is in the top 10% of whaler units you can find (in terms of cleanliness, quality of furnishings, and it has been recently and nicely remodeled - completely). But secondly, the property manager is first class and extremely accommodating and responsive. Highly Recommended!

clean apartment and big enough for a family of four. nice view from everywhere in the apt. pool on the beach was also good. convenient location - right on the beach and next to the whaler village for food/shopping.
