"This villa should have been great. It is well laid out, has a nice garden and is close to amenities and beaches. However on arrival we found one bedroom unavailable due to a leaking roof. Another has a major plumbing issue so that sewage water spills from the toilet to flood the bathroom and spread foul odours. A third bedroom is constantly damp in the spring because there is no central heating so when it's cold you have to light fires in several rooms. The hot water supply is hopeless - if you...

"We found the apartment, clean, accessible and perfect for our time in Lagos. The pool access was great with our two littles, and we appreciated the keys everywhere so we could safely lock doors and prevent them from going outside unattended. Definitely plan for a rental car/using uber, etc because walking proximity is not ideal but we didn’t mind. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly !"

"Casa Guari is a wonderful place for a private and relaxing vacation - wonderful hosts and hospitality. The only surprise to us was that we had to pay separately for acces to use the air condition on location as we know we booked a place incl A/C like we have done for the past 15 years using Home Away/Vrbo."

"Felt like home away from home. Even in July without A/C it wasn't too hot especially with the fans going. Amazing views, very well equipped kitchen and a quick walk to everything we could want in Luz and a quick drive to Lagos. The host was very accomodating of our large family of varying ages. Keep in mind that there are lots of stairs (3 stories) made of stone that is pretty slippery so especially younger and older family members need to be careful."
