## Space

Located in the much sought after resort of Porto de Mos in the Lagos area, this spacious two bed, two bathroom apartment is luxuriously furnished to a very high standard. The condominium is small and is shared with eleven other apartments.

Situated on the ground floor, it is fully air conditioned with balconies both front and back of the property. Either unwind on the sofas whilst looking over the pool and with sea glimpses, or the easy chairs at the back with its private garden. Inside it is light and airy with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy your holiday. This unique apartment has a King size bed in the main bedroom, with an ensuite bathroom, jacuzzi bath and overhead shower. The second bedroom has two single beds that can have a configuration of a double if required and a separate shower room. A fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, ceramic hot plate and integral oven. Large open plan lounge and dining room which looks out through floor to ceiling glass doors onto the south facing balcony where you can enjoy your evening meal or breakfast.

For around the pool area, there are sunbeds available, so relax whilst being surrounded by well manicured and beautifully landscaped gardens.

## Neighborhood

Porto de Mós beach is less then a 10 minute stroll away, where you can find two beach side restaurants and a bus stop for going into the town centre. Alternatively, an approximate 8 minute car/taxi ride will also take you into the bustling historic town of Lagos. Lagos perfectly blends traditional Portuguese culture with beautiful beaches and great tourist facilities. It has an amazing historic centre with lots to explore and a leisurely walk alongside the charming harbours estuary. With an extensive selection of restaurants to choose from and nightlife, you will be spoilt for choice. Close to Lagos is a variety of activities and sights which range from waterparks to zoos, through to historic monuments and challenging hiking and biking trails. There are three golf courses within close proximity to Lagos, making it an ideal location for your base.

## Transit

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

This property is amazing. It has everything pictured and more. First of all it is HUGE. So much space with very sleek and clean flooring. The entire apartment was spotless. The pool was right outside the door with regular maintenance, a rooftop terrace with amazing views (photo here), and the gated entrance to the main floor apartment was handy. The apartment itself had automated blinds which was great because it has so much light during the day. The AC units worked well. The kitchen was stocked with seasonings and coffee pods which was a plus. There was also a washer in the kitchen which was unexpected. The neighbourhood is very modern and quiet. It is on the west side of Lagos about 30 min walk to the town but we found the location perfect as it was close to arguably the best beach which has two great restaurants, there is a yummy cafe just north "Keste". Only problems we had was finding close places open on Mondays. If you’re up to it you can take a beautiful and slightly sketchy hike into town along the cliffs! Sometimes getting a Bolt was a little slow because it is far out and only 4-6. The company was very responsive and went out of their way to try to accommodate an additional night for us. Accessing the apartment was very easy however make sure you pull the door towards you when turning the lock otherwise it spins. 10/10 recommend and will be back!

Great Location and Amazing Stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this VRBO, and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment was great – clean, well-appointed, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Its proximity to the beach was a major plus, and it was just a couple of minutes away from the beautiful Lagos, making it an ideal location for exploring the area. Communication from the host was excellent throughout my stay. The check-in directions provided were easy to follow and very straightforward, ensuring a hassle-free arrival. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Lagos. It offers a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and excellent hospitality.

Tolle Wohnung, aber der Guest Support

Positiv: Wir waren 6 Wochen in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung selber ist top. Sehr geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Hochwertigen Geräten, elektrische Rollos, flottes Internet. Die Wohnanlage selber ist sehr ruhig. Kostenloser Parkplatz ist direkt vor der Wohnanlage. In 5 Minuten ist man direkt am Strand. Negativ: 1. Was nicht mitgeteilt wurde ist, dass die komplette Terassentür von einem Schlafzimmer gebrochen war. Die komplette Terassentür war von innen verklebt und abgestützt. Laut den Nachbarn besteht dieser Zustand schon knapp ein halbes Jahr. Zimmer war komplett dunkel und konnte nicht gelüftet werden. Nach Nachfragen wurde uns mitgeteilt, das dies weiter gegeben wird und jemand vorbeikommt (nach einem halben Jahr). 2. Die hellblauen Terassenpolster, waren schwarz vor Schimmel und Stockflecken. Das hat ein Vorgänger schon im Oktober bemängelt. Auf Nachfrage wurden die Polster abgeholt und vier Wochen später bekamen wir Ersatz. 3. Die Sauberkeit. Den Zustand hatten wir in anderen Wohnungen noch nicht erlebt. Auf Backblechen waren noch kleine Mahlzeiten, Pfannen nicht gereinigt. Gefrierschrank war voller Eis, das in allen möglichen Farben schimmerte, Lichtschalter waren schmutzig etc. Fenster und Oberflächen waren schmierig. Die Batterien der meisten Fernbedienungen waren leer - neue selbst besorgt. Nur eine Garnitur Handtücher für 6 Wochen ist ein bisschen wenig. Ansonsten wäre die Wohnung top.
