"What a fantastic boutique hotel made all the better by the fantastic staff. I donât know where they train/recruit/clone these people but each one is a shining example of what service in hospitality should be - they are quite superb.

"An oasis of class and tranquility in the heart of old La Rochelle, complete with a spacious lobby, swimming pool, parking, and attached restaurant. Courteous and well informed staff. We could not quite figure out the AC, fortunately the weather was perfect at night. Driving into the hotel takes getting used to typing in the code to open the road barrier, but thatâs the price of calm. "

"Great central location. Comfy bed. Fantastic friendly staff without exception. Extremely welcoming and great touch of dog bowls and biscuits. Some TLC needed in parts but overall stunning. Amazing breakfast for a celiac. The only drawback is no onsite secure parking but there is plentiful public parking only 90 seconds walk away."

"This charming, maritime hotel was a friendly home during our stay in La Rochelle. The hosts' were extraordinarily helpful and friendly and showed great interest in our wellbeing. It is situated by the harbour in the very city centre - a town with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. La Rochelle is a beautiful town and a good base for smaller trips to the surrounding area and the islands and Fort Boyard in the Atlantic. Worth a visit! Best / A happy couple from Copenhagen"

"Dejligt hotel som ligger i et virkeligt stille kvarter men dog super centralt, med virkelig mange restauranter lige om hjÞrnet. Meget rent og pÊnt. Personalet er dog ikke sÄ imÞdekommende, men hvis man er ligeglad om de kigger op nÄr man kommer ind sÄ er det jo lige meget. "
