This beautiful big house (wheelchair accessible) is located in front of Lac Castor beach and near the Papineau Labelle wildlife reserve. The sandy beach of Lac Castor is a 2-minute walk away and often isolated. You can see the lake from the front of the house, hear the rapids from the side of the house, and see the 15 acre forest leading down to a small waterfall. A large campfire above a starry sky makes this home perfect for hosting large groups. Inside the house, there are large living areas, 5 bedrooms which only one of the bedrooms with the 2 twin beds is in an open area, 2 bathrooms and fully equipped to accommodatei a maximum of 18 people. A large balcony surrounds the house which includes a swing and a barbecue. There is an ice rink or soccer field behind the house. The village of La Minerve is 15 minutes from the house. Mont Tremblant is 51 km from the chalet and the P’tit Train du Nord bike path is 32 km away. The Quebec National Hiking Trail (footpath) is 7 km from the house via Chemin Marie-Lefranc.
