I booked this hotel without reading the reviews. Hotel location is not great, front desk staff was not great, at least the person who checked me in. Did not welcome us, did not smile once and was rudely straight to the point, it almost felt like he did not want to be there.
I had two rooms booked, one for myself and one for my aunt and her husband. I can understand the hotel being older and all, however the rooms were dirty and dingy. I found hairs and sand on my bed. The sheets smelled like someone had slept in them and they were not washed. The were two major issues in my opinion and reason I’ll never stay again. 1- Neither one of the rooms had a fridge so we couldn’t keep anything in the room, such as waters and snacks. I left a little bag of snacks on the counter and within minutes it crawling with little bugs. 2- all the water in the rooms was SALTY. The sink water and shower water was SALTY! imagine taking a shower with sea water, far worst imagine brushing your teeth with salty water( gross).
There is far better option for smaller local spots that aren’t necessarily posted on major websites.
