"Travelled with my wife and only chose the town because she was keen to experience the nearby Bagni San Fillipo.But Gli Archi and the town Abbadia San Salvatore both pleasantly surprised us. The house and our room were spotless and the owner lovelly.Room was huge and breakfast tasty. The Abbadia (Abbey) proved to be memorable,especially the multi columned crypt! Nearby Ospedale was perfect for all day free parking an easy walk from B&B."

The spacious apartment and the nature around the property as well as the proximity to Montalcino were perfect for a relaxing time. The little winery was excellent and the wine tasted really good. There is a free wine tasting for their vineyard included and the proprietor did our tasting and it was incredible and he was very passionate about his craft and highly knowledgeable. This winery is respectful of nature and organic. If you have a car and are interested in Brunello you will not regret your stay. The breastfast is rather limited in options. Also visit the Abbey that is nearby which was uplifting and a living community. "
